2019 - C2 EWU AUAP November 2019Happy Thanksgiving from EWU-AUAP! Various activities kept the students busy in and outof their regular classes. For Career Explorations the students took a field trip to theDavenport Hotel in Spokane, WA. A tour guide led them through the beautiful hotel andtold stories about its history. Nov. 13th was "Student for a Day." The students followedtheir EWU friends to their university classes and wrote reflections about their experience.In IES the students finished their Children's Books which they will give to their Pen Pals inDecember. The Children's Books share an aspect of Japanese culture each student hasdescribed through drawings and writings. The final Functions test was on Nov. 18thfollowed by the first week of Global Issues. Term One ended with the practice TOEIC. Thestudents celebrated Thanksgiving with campus friends, classmates, and faculty. Atraditional Thanksgiving feast was held in our student services lounge where everyonegathered to eat, play games, and watch movies.

2019 - C2 EWU AUAP November 2019EWU-AUAPから感謝祭おめでとう！11⽉も⽣徒たちはたくさんのアクティビティーがあり、忙しくしていました。キャリア探索の授業ではスポケーンの歴史あるデーベンホテルに⾏き、ツアーガイドが美しいホテルを

案内し、またホテルの歴史を教えてくれました。

11⽉13⽇は、"Student for a Day"があり⽣徒たちはEWUの学⽣に付き添いEWUの授業を受け、その体験をレポートしました。

IESのクラスでは12⽉にペンパルの⼦供にあげる児童本を書き終えました。その本で絵や⽂章を通し、⽣徒たちは⼦供たちに⽇本⽂化を教えます。

ファンクションの最終テストが11⽉１８⽇にありました。テストは１週⽬のグローバル問題についてでした。そして、TOEICテストが最後にあり１学期が終了しました。⽣徒たちはクラスメート、キャンパスフレンド、先⽣と共に感謝祭をお祝いしました。また伝統的な感

謝祭の⻝事がラウンジにて振舞われ、みんなで美味しく頂きました。
