GGF is so excited to have Brent Tyler coming to our stage this summer! The backyard space is a comfortable yet sophisticated place to be. A roaring fire,

candles, snacks, wine. A great date night, really! We’ve welcomed two French singer-songwriters so far, and now are so thrilled to have the talent of Brent Tyler to showcase. Brent is a local legend, at almost seven feet tall. Imagine Ray LaMontagne and Dave Matthews were sipping whiskey around the fire at Martin Sexton’s house while listening to the Beatles “White Album” on vinyl. That’s his sound. Big sound, bit songs. Brent has had a busy year with a lot of touring and recording. Along with his roots sound from his 2010 release, In Rhythm, Brent will treat us to new tunes from his 3 (yes, we said 3) albums we will be releasing in 2014. The concert series is a great

way to support the good work at GGF. For $25, you can enjoy an evening of amazing musical entertainment. $10 goes to the artist, and the rest goes overseas to “generate health for all”. Last year’s concert raised enough money to bring together emerging leaders in Family Medicine training in East Africa. Please join us this year as we plan our next conference in the fall. Please note, Emma Harding’s September 6th concert has been cancelled… her guitarist got an opportunity to play the Country Music Awards. We’re hoping to reschedule, so stay tuned!
