BMW Motorcycle Festival Rolls Into Big Bear September 19-21

● Ride a fleet of BMW demo bikes that includes their entire line of sport, roadster, touring and adventure models on guided and self guided rides.

● Demo ride loops both on and off road, mapped out by experienced MotoQuest motorcycle adventure guides.

Long Beach, Calif. – September 11, 2014 - This September 19th - 21st, the So Cal BMW Dealer Group is bringing a celebration of BMW motorcycling to the mountains of Southern California. This event is not a rally, but an exclusive and intimate gathering of motorcyclists from around the world to experience the latest offerings from BMW Motorrad, learn from industry leaders, and enjoy incredible riding on twisting mountain roads with fellow motorcyclists. The festival is open to any brand of motorcycle, so riders on all makes and models are encouraged to attend.

Big Bear, CA sits at the heart of the San Bernardino mountains, and is surrounded by dense forests laced with hundreds of miles of gorgeous mountain roads and trails. This alpine setting serves as the perfect backdrop for riders to put the newest rides from BMW Motorrad through their paces, both on and off-road. Festival attendees will be able to experience the exciting and agile S1000RR, the unstoppable R1200GS Adventure, the versatile new water-cooled R1200RT, the luxurious and powerful K1600GTL and more on any of the test loops laid out by MotoQuest’s experienced motorcycle guides. Riders who purchase a new BMW motorcycle from one of the So Cal BMW Dealer Group members up to six months after the event will have their ticket price put toward the purchase price of their new bike!

When they aren’t out riding the mountain passes, attendees will be able to enjoy gourmet meals, live music, a special screening of the #1 motorcycle movie in America Why We Ride, the inspirational multimedia presentation of Glen “The Striking Viking” Heggstad, the daring stunts of Chris “Teach” McNeil, and informational seminars from industry experts like Twisted Throttle President Erik Stephens, AltRider President Jeremey LeBreton, MotoQuest Adventure Guide Kevin Haggerty, Galfer Brakes, Schuberth Helmets and Held Rider Equipment.
