INTRODUCTION

SAMI® Ecowood is the simplest and e�ective ecological system consisting in non-invasive disinfestation of wood by shortwave technology.

We know that fungicides infestations and wood boring insect attack such as: termites, woodworms and moths, among others, cause serious damage to wooden objects and structures.

The repair or replacement of corroded structures requires a substantial �nancial investment and, in the case of cultural and artistic property, damage can become irreparable.

Traditionally, it has resorted to the use of biocide action chemicals to combat the onslaught of these and other pests.However, the use of such chemicals brings three underlying problems:
