HOSPITAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY E-COMMERCE COMPANY

Problem: Class action suit. Problem: Patent infringement. Problem: Partnership dispute.

Solution: An L&F senior employee

was appointed as a Special Master. In

addition to conducting evidentiary

hearings, he supervised E-Discovery

and issued E-Discovery requests and

subpoenas. L&F used cutting edge

analysis to review the material. After

numerous hearings and a deep

investigation, including the uncovering

of numerous deleted documents and

emails, the L&F employee issued a

detailed recommendation concerning

compliance that was adopted by the

Court.

Solution: Several entrepreneurs that

created technology claimed their

former company took credit for their

inventions. Our team, representing

these entrepreneurs, conducted in-

person interviews, and created a

multi-step protocol to sift through

servers and the cloud to find

evidence. As a direct result of our

findings, the client was able to prove

that the company was withholding

about 14,000 documents from the

court proceedings. These documents

contained undeniable proof that the

idea in question was property of our

client.

Solution: A Law & Forensics' team

member served as a court appointed

Special Master in a multi-billion dollar

case involving disputes over profit-

sharing and intellectual property. The

team member held evidentiary

hearings, permitted discovery deemed

reasonable and necessary,

supervised e-discovery, issued e-

discovery requests and subpoenas on

issues related to compliance, and

delivered a detailed recommendation

to the Court concerning compliance.

parties in reaching a settlement.
