A-J Propellers and Stirrers

A Four-Blade Propellers draw the material to be mixed from the top to the bottom. Create local shearing forces and axial flow in the vessel. Use at medium to high speeds.

B-C Three-Blade Propellers draw material to be mixed from the top and the bottom while creating minimum shearing forces. Use at medium to high speed.

D Turbine Propellers are used for drawing the material to be mixed from above while generating axial flow within the vessel. Minimum danger of injury when contact is made with the vessel. Create minimal shearing forces. Use at medium to high speeds.

E Dissolver Propellers are for drawing the material to be mixed from the top and the bottom while creating high turbulence and high sheering forces for particle reduction. Use at medium to high speeds.

F Folding Propellers are two-bladed, and the blades open with increasing speed, perfect for stirring in round vessels with narrow necks. Medium to high speeds are required.

G Paddle Stirrers create tangential flow, minimum turbulence, good heat exchange, and gentle treatment of product. Use at low to medium speeds.

H-I Anchor Stirrers create tangential flow, high shearing rate at edges, minimum deposits on the vessel wall, making them great for polymer reactions and even distribution of high mineral contents in liquids. Ideal for medium to highly viscous fluids. Use at low speeds.

J Kneading Propeller creates tangential flow with oscillating compacting between the kneading surfaces with minimum deposits on the vessel. Use at low speeds. K Mixer Plate Stand comes with slip-resistant foil and a support

rod with diameter of 5⁄8" (16 mm).

L-M Mixer H-Stands. Particularly stable stand with “H”-shaped base prevents the stand from tipping backwards. Model M is spring loaded to allow for height adjustment from 2413⁄32" to 39¾" (620 mm to 1010 mm).

1 Digital High-Speed HomogenizersThis system is ideal for batch homogenizing of cell tissues, emulsifying suspended solids, and air pollution filter extraction. Shielded in a 316 stainless steel shaft, the rotor acts as a centrifugal pump to recirculate the liquid and suspended solids through the generator, where shear, impact, collision, and cavitation provide rapid homogenization (order generators separately).

The versatile Magic LAB allows you to select from seven different mixing technologies using a variety of available mixing heads, all with programmable speed control to determine the best mixing function for the process. This laboratory machine offers a great variety of applications for many different mixing and particle size reduction processes.

The system consists of a base unit and a single-stage in-line dispersing mixing head; a country-specific plug must be selected separately for operation. By simply pushing buttons on the info center’s display screen, you can easily adjust speed ranges, set nominal values, and choose your specific language readout (English, Spanish, French, German, or Italian). Depending on the application, the base unit can be modified quickly with optional mixing heads and generators. The modification is simple and does not require any special training or tools (all required tools for standard operation are included).

System includes: base unit, single-stage in-line dispersing mixing head (IKA model UTL), inlet socket, mixing chamber, generator (IKA model 4M), rotor, distance sleeve, locking nut, clamp, instruction manual, and transport case. Base unit requires selection of a separate country-specific plug for 220 VAC operation.

IKA® Ceramic-Top Hot Plates, Stirrers, and Stirring Hot PlatesPrecise digital control with superior stirring strengthl Extremely fast heatingThe flat, white ceramic top plate cleans easily, and resists alkalies and acids. Three patented modes of operation guarantee optimal adjustment to your working method: Mode A is suitable for work with varying parameters and is safety temperature adjustable; Mode B is suitable for series operation under uniform conditions; Mode C is suitable for unsupervised operation.

Microprocessor-controlled hot plates and stirring hot plates feature an over-temperature safety circuit fixed at 1022°F (550°C). Order optional temperature sensor for more precise temperature control. Sensor features optimized PID control—ensuring perfect temperature control without overshooting the set temperature, even in the case of quick heating.
