OVERVIEW The Direct Grid GEMINI Series Utility Grade Micro Inverter is a powerful state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) inverter which pairs together two 60 cell mono or poly crystalline modules and converts the DC energy to grid -compliant AC power. Designed specifically for grid-tie applications, the GEMINI Series offers an unprecedented 530W maximum output power. The GEMINI Series utilizes Direct Grid's unique patent pending Closed Loop MOSFET Planar Technology, which significantly increases reliability and performance. FEATURES and BENEFITS Module Pairing: The exceptional power produced by the Direct Grid GEMINI series instills confidence that users will not experience power limiting. Pairing of larger modules reduces the number of required mi- cro inverters in HALF and results in fewer panels to install in order to achieve the desired DC nameplate. Harvest Gains: The GEMINI Series micro inverter offers additional har- vest gains versus conventional PV string architectures. Beyond the nor- mal shading, debris or soiling events that can drag down performance of a string or central inverter, the low power consumption of the GEMINI micro inverter also enables energy harvest in very low irradiance condi- tions for a full sun day. Expect to harvest on cloudy days and in most cases, on severely overcast days. Harvest gains can reach up to 20-25%. Echelon Communication: For units equipped with Echelon, each GEMINI micro inverter transmits real-time monitoring data via the power lines to a remote Echelon iLON SMART Server. Any underperforming module can be quickly identified within minutes. Maintenance can be performed at scheduled intervals, instead of on demand. Reduction of Balance of System (BOS) Costs: The GEMINI micro inverter reduces BOS costs versus conventional central inverter architectures by using more cost effective transportation avenues, eliminating the costs associated with cranes, concrete platforms, DC combiners and DC dis- connects. Depending upon architecture, expect savings between 5-15%.
