New Condos in Newport to OfferCincinnati Views
Skypoint Luxury Condos will celebrate a ribbon-cutting on Monday, August 26 at 4:30 p.m.
The new hilltop project in Newport was put together by developer 120 Main Street, with
assistance from the Catalytic Fund, Forcht Bank, and the City of Newport.
Skypoint is on the site of the former Baptist Home in Newport (120 Main Street), and offers direct
views of the Cincinnati skyline.

“I have lived in the Cincinnati region my entire life and haven’t seen views as stunning as those
at Skypoint,” said Edward Horgan, a partner in the development team.
The Catalytic Fund gave the project an assist.
“There is a lot of demand in Northern Kentucky for high-quality condominiums in this price range
and especially with the amenities this project will offer,” said Jeanne Schroer, president and CEO
of the Catalytic Fund.
The first phase of Skypoint will feature nineteen units, sixteen of which will have direct skyline
views. The model unit will be unveiled at Monday's ribbon-cutting, which is set for 4:30 p.m. It
has sixty-three linear feet of windows to show off the Covington, Newport, and Cincinnati
riverfronts.
"This floor-to-ceiling glass brings the breathtaking view right into the living spaces," Hogan said.
The development will also have a rooftop deck with a wet bar, a business center, exercise room,
outdoor pool, party space, and enclosed courtyard with a dog park with trails and a pond.
The condos will list for $240,600 to $584,600 and will include a garage space. Phase two will
add twenty-six more units.
“We included custom cabinetry from (Newport-based) KTCHN, hardwood floors in the main living
area, a contemporary gas fireplace, quartz countertops and sleek lighting," said Ben Trautman, a
partner in the development team. "The kitchen will have a large walk-in pantry and the peninsula,
where the sink is located, will face the incredible view. Residents will also have an on-site
storage space, as well as the option to have their own garage.”
Forcht Bank and its Cincinnati market president Gregory Niesen will handle the buyer loan
applications.
“Forcht Bank’s commitment to the communities we serve make us a perfect fit for this project,"
said Niesen. "The bank is providing the development loan, along with special purchase contract-
rate lock financing for people purchasing the condos.”
