New Products 2016Interton introduces — two new family members that complete the portfolioThis year we are proud to offer two new family members in our most popular product families, Step 6 and Centro 2.

With Step 6 you will have our strongeset audiological solution which includes all the great features you know from Step 4, plus new exciting enhancements. Control Interton Centro from iPhone, iPad or iPod touchYour customers can now stream audio from their iPhone directly to their Centro 6 hearing .aids, without an intermediate device around their neck. This means that users can effortlessly access everything from music to FaceTime calls or GPS instructions, and they can adjust volume and programs directly from their iPhone.

With the addition of an Interton Phone Clip 2 and the EasyHearing app, both Android and iPhone users can also adjust volume and change programs on their Interton Centro 4 and 2 as well as most Interton Step hearing aids.

This means that users can now seamlessly control their hearing aids and enjoy the exact same functionality as everyone else - directly in their ears.

Acclimatization ManagerAcclimatization Manager gradually increases gain over time to eventually achieve prescribed levels. This allows a new user to adapt to amplification comfortably and seamlessly. It can also be beneficial in cases where a new user is unable to return to the dispenser for follow-up for an extended period of time.

Integrated DirectionalityIntegrated Directionality is Interton’s latest state of the art feature available exclusively in Step 6 for improving a listener’s ability to hear everything around them. It provides a natural and comfortable auditory experience while allowing the user to listen to what they find most interesting, even in challenging acoustic environments. By utilizing Interton’s 2.4 GHz technology with ear-to-ear communication, both hearing instruments work together wirelessly to determine the ideal setting for the environment. The result is an improvement in clarity of sounds while at the same time maintaining awareness of surroundings.

Comfort PhoneComfort Phone enables users to focus on what’s important during a phone conversation, even in a noisy situation. When a phone is placed close to a hearing aid on one ear, the volume for the hearing aid on the other ear is automatically decreased. Background noise is reduced yet still audible, maintaining awareness of surroundings.

Feedback Manager Plus, with Music ModeFeedback Manager Plus removes feedback and whistling when an object such as a phone is near the ear, or when users hug a loved one. Additionally, Music mode differentiates the desired sounds of music from unwanted feedback, ensuring that music comes through with amazing clarity and without distortion or artifacts.

Ear-to-Ear communicationInterton’s Ear-to-Ear communication makes enjoying life much easier with innovative synchronization of volume control and push button adjustments. By simply changing the setting on one hearing aid, the other hearing aid automatically adjusts to the same setting, effortlessly keeping them in balance.

Environmental Gain TunerEnvironmental Gain Tuner optimizes gain settings for better listening experiences in up to seven different environments. As the user moves from one acoustic environment to another, the gain offset for that specific environment is automatically applied. It’s the perfect feature for active people who encounter a wide variety of listening situations.

SureFit Receivers and Domes The SureFit Receiver Series features improvements in acoustic performance including increased output and fitting ranges. Four new receivers and three new domes are cosmetically appealing and small in size for optimal physical comfort and fit. Please note that all Interton hearing aids being Centro 6, 4, 2 and Step 6 introduced in 2015 and beyond use the new SureFit receivers.

Personal Noise ReductionThe Environmental Gain Tuner and Personal Noise Reduction together optimize gain and noise reduction settings for a better listening experience in up to seven different acoustic environments. When the hearing aid recognizes one of these environments, it automatically applies the appropriate gain and noise reduction for that specific environment. This ensures that users always experience maximum comfort and audibility in every environment they encounter.

ReceiversThe new SureFit receivers are available in 4 versions: Low Power (LP), Medium Power (MP), High Power (HP) and an encased Ultra Power (UP).

Nano Coating - increased lifetime, fewer repairsAll Interton hearing aids are treated with Nano Coating, which forms a protective layer on both the outer shell of the hearing aid and all the electronics inside. Nano Coating protects the hearing aids from moisture and dust, prevents corrosion, and greatly improves reliability resulting in fewer repairs and more satisfied customers.

Frequency ShiftingInterton’s Frequency Shifting feature takes valuable information that might not be heard by those with limited high frequency hearing and shifts it to a lower frequency range. By providing audibility for these sounds, the user is able to receive important speech information they might have otherwise missed.
