Studies consistently show that people under 35 have heard the gospel message and support the inclusion of all believers, LGBTQ or otherwise.
So while some people in the church continue to use divisive tactics to ensure exclusion, the next generation has already decided for the full equality of all people.
This year, at the Presbyterian General Assembly, LGBTQ people, and allies, of the welcoming generation will claim their birthright as members of a just and inclusive church.
Through positive, life-giving direct action, the New Church (R)evolution will be the church we want to see, as we invite the PCUSA to have the courage to join us in living into freedom and justice!
Actions may include: music, street theater, storytelling, worship…
speakouts, rallies, parades, mime…
Okay, no mime.
poster art, multimedia presentations, online collaboration…
…intentional conversation, revival meetings, roving evangelism, and guerilla acts of hospitality.
We will live out and demonstrate the joyful, welcoming church in expected and unexpected events and venues throughout the General Assembly.
Join us in living out the joyful promise of God’s love, June 21-28!
