Every business no matter big or small, old or new started with an idea. Whether the idea was simple or ground breaking doesn’t really matter, the point is that without an idea there is no business and without new ideas we do not progress. The “New Beginnings – Creating your Future Business” programme has been specially developed to combat the negative jobs market and to enable the unemployed to look at ways to become the entrepreneurs of Ireland’s future . what you want for your future. • To introduce you to a new an awakened sense of how powerful and resourceful you

really are. • To facilitate you explore and discover a robust, realistic, exciting and viable new

business idea. • To equip you with the skills and confidence to present your idea with clarity, impact,

energy and conviction. • To help you stress-test your idea with a view to attracting the interest of potential

investors, customers, partners etc • To create a sound and realistic Next Step Action Plan to turn your new business idea

into a reality.

How the Programme will work The programme will work on two levels, in tandem, with one level feeding into the other:

Transformation Level: Personal and Professional Development

AND

Ideas and Plans Level: New Business Ideas and Breakthroughs Programme Outcomes As a result of this programme participants will leave with a robust, realistic, exciting and viable new business idea plus the next steps to make it a reality. You will also have a clearer, stronger, richer image of yourself, of your resourcefulness and of the possibilities available to you to develop your new business or to take a new and vibrant direction in your professional life.

Programme Outline DAY 1 Monday : Module 1 Theme “No Going Back – Always Going Forward” Objective: To get clear and committed focus on where you are now and what you want for your future.

Module 2 Theme “My Real Power” Objective: To give you a new and awakened sense of how

powerful and resourceful you are. Module 3 Theme “What a great idea… how did they think of that?” Objective: To help you find a robust, realistic, exciting and viable new business idea.

DAY 2 Tuesday: Module 3 Continued “What a great idea… how did they think of that?”

Module 4 Theme “Presenting Your New Idea” Objective: To give you the skills and confidence to put your idea forward with clarity, impact, energy and conviction. BREAK FOR 2 Days DAY 3 Friday: Module 5 “Pitching Your idea” Objective: To help you stress test your idea with a view to attracting the interest of potential investors Module 6 : Next Steps in the Journey

Objective: To help you lay out and plan the necessary next steps

to make your new business idea a reality.
