MEMORIALS

Sharing Hearts For: Jennie Welch By: M/M Don Glisson

Music For: Jennie Welch By: Delores Johnson For: Dewitt Wilder By: D/M Ray Gregory

A Letter from Blue Mountain College Baptist Student Union Dear Friends, In the Hebrew language when something is repeated three times, it indicates the importance of the words. So when I say thank you, I need to say it three times because it is incredibly important. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I realize your church does not have to support Blue Mountain College BSU, but I, along with many students, are so grateful that you do invest in BSU. BSU is your ministry to college students. Recently I asked several students to express how their lives were impacted as a result of BSU at Blue Mountain College. Let me include some of these statements in this letter so that you may know what our students, both past and present, think. The BSU found me a broken person and has helped me get back up to be a stronger follower of Christ. The BSU brings students together to encourage and prune us as we go along in our lives as college students. Joshua Cox, current student. When I think back to my college years, the brightest spot shines from the Baptist Student Union. I learned about God’s heart for the nations as a child and teenager in church, but when I got involved with BSU, I became part of that experience. Through involvement in BSU, I came to understand that God had not called me to a particular place to serve Him, but that He had called me to lost people. This profoundly changed the way I understand ministry. I am grateful for the way God used BSU in my spiritual journey. Maria Teel, Executive Assistant to Jim Futral, MBCB Executive Director I hope from the comments of past and present students, you can see that you are making a wise investment in the next generation of church leaders. Thank you for recognizing the importance of reaching out to a people group at a key transition point in their lives. Please call us if we can assist you in anyway. Until He comes, Tracy Moser
