Important Instructions

1. Candidate must read the Prospectus (July-2017) carefully before filling this Form.2. Candidates can apply from anywhere across the globe however Personal Contact program,

submission of assignments, Examination etc. shall be as per jurisdiction of Punjab only.3. Before applying for admission to any course, the candidate must ensure that he / she is eligible for

the same. The detailed eligibility criteria is given in the Prospectus (July-2017) and also attached atAnnexure-I of this Form. All original certificates of the candidate will be checked after he / shesubmits the Admission Form. Only after successful eligibility check, the admission will beconfirmed and a roll number will be allotted to the candidate. Admission of all such candidateswho fail in eligibility check or do not report for eligibility check shall be cancelled by theuniversity. The schedule of eligibility check will be notified through University website.

4. Candidate must enter his / her correct mobile no, email id and postal address carefully as thesame will be used by IKGPTU for future correspondence with him.

5. Applicable fee can be seen from Fee Chart attached at Annexure-II of this form.6. For submission of fee, please see Annexure-III.7. Keep a photocopy of completely filled Admission Form and the fee transaction details with you for

2. The filled Specialization Form has to be attached with this Admission Form.3. Specialization subjects are applicable for MCA 3rd semester lateral entry admissions only. For

rest of the courses, students have to study only the compulsory subjects as per their academicschemes given in the Prospectus (July-2017).

4. Students must keep a copy of the completely filled Specialization Form also for future reference.5. Specialization subjects once selected in the Specialization Form shall be deemed as final and any

request for changing the same at a later stage will not be entertained.

Section 4- Personal Contact Program (PCP)

1. University organizes PCP classes only at its own campuses in Kapurthala, Amritsar, Mohali andHoshiarpur.

2. PCPs will be held in Regular Mode (continuous two week classes at IKGPTU Main CampusKapurthala only as well as Weekend Mode (classes on Saturdays & Sundays at other campuses ofIKGPTU)

3. Student can attend the classes including practicals at the respective PCP location as opted in his /her Admission Form.

4. The PCP location once selected in Admission Form will not be changed later for the currentsemester. No change in PCP location will be entertained at a later date. However, in extreme cases,where it is highly necessary, a request can be entertained by the Director (DDE) on submission ofdesired documents.

5. The selected PCP location is applicable for this admission session only.6. If the student does not fill any choice of PCP location, university will allot any location as it deems

fit. No claim will be entertained later.

1. University conducts the semester end theory examinations at various examination centresacross the state of Punjab. A list of probable examination centre locations is attached atAnnexure-V.

2. Student must opt for two examination centre locations in order of preference out of the givenlist.

3. If the student does not fill any choice of exam centre, university will allot any location as itdeems fit. No claim shall be entertained later.

4. University will issue Admit Card to the eligible students for appearing in the semester endexaminations. The allotted examination centre will be reflected on the Admit Card. This AdmitCard will be available online at university website before the commencement of semester endexaminations.
