    Abstract/Executive Summary

    We do our internship in MAXSECURE this company is already very strongly present in

    US, UK and Australia there they have Spyware detector, Registry Cleaner, File

    Shredder now they came in INDIA and launch new product Maxsecure antivirus in three

    major states of INDIA Maharashtra (Mumbai,pune),Gujarat(Ahmadabad),MP(Indore)

    We do the work on new product development and development of distribution channel

    for maxsecure antivirus. So for that we make awareness of that product in market by

    distributing broachers, our company executive also taking different press press

    conference with that published news in different news paper and local news paper also

    and its really help us for to make real awareness about our product in market.

    For distribution channel development we individually meet to all pune and surrounding

    areas distributer who selling computer software we gave them a 30 days demo version

    of our product and make negotiation with them for our product or for capturingmarket .Already there is to many competitor in every market so for that we apply somedifferentiation strategy for to differentiate our product from existing once we add some

    extra features in our product which other dont have and also concentrate on our

    product packaging which is show more impact on product selling because its comes

    under a product appearance which is the most important thing in every product

    development. With that we also arrange dealer meets in every particular area for to

    concentrate dealer towards our product and in that meets our Founder & CEO Sanjay

    Pradhan address to all of them.

    After some period of time when we completed our dealer survey we again revisit to thisdealer for to take feedback regarding our product which we gave them for 30days trail. If

    they like the product its working capacity after that we talk with them regarding our

    product selling we told them what exact cost of our product which as dealer they need

    to pay and at how much price they can sell our product to end user all this thing we do

    in distribution channel development its all about B2B marketing.

    With that we also did B2C marketing for that activity 2weeks we visited different different

    housing society different malls, colleges where we directly interact with end users and

    here we get all the practical knowledge regarding how to convince, bargain , negotiate

    and with that also learn how to face the question off different user.

    So this entire project we learn how to use all this aspect like Idea generation, Idea

    screening, concept development and testing, business analysis, beta testing and market

    testing,technical implementation,commercialization,new product pricing all this

    important aspect we practically learn in new product and its distribution channel.

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

    OBJECTIVE

    The project was carried out for the MAXSECURE ANTIVIRUS to conduct a market

    research for antivirus requirement in distributors and consumer in the city of Pune.

    With a following objectives-

    To understand the market potential of its new antivirus product.

    To analyse the present market condition of different compititor.

    To understand the customer awarness about anivirus.

    To understand what distributor and customer expectation from new antivirus

    compare to present antivirus.

    LIMITATION

    The project was subject to the following limitation-

    The project shows the overview of the some areas so result may vary when the

    entire city will be covered.

    Some of the distributors might have given wrong informationunavoidable

    circumstances.

    CONCLUSION

    MAXSECURE ANTIVIRUS is new firm in India they already succesfully present in

    US,UK and Australia there they have product spyware detector.After getting good

    response they again come back in India and develop this new antivirus.

    In this antivirus they develop some extra features which other antivirus is doesnt have

    and its more user friendly no any coplicated function in it this are the main featureswhich differentiate this antivirus from other.

    For the development of market for this antivirus we make a research of distributor and

    consumer which helps us to understand exact whats the condition of antivirus which

    already avilable in Pune market

    During this market research it was found out that both distributor and consumer are

    manly giving preference to only that thing which make there work easy with significant

    In todays scenario everyone is using internet so the chances of affection of viruse to

    type of viruses which hack the user personnel information to prevent this thing antivirusis plays vital role in that. Only when if this antivirus is developed by that manner .

    This study would help us to knowing the how much distributor and the consumer aware

    about there securities regarding computer. Through that we also learnt many thing like

    whats the distributor as ur partner for saling your product in market what is his condition

    what expectation they have from your product ,what extra features your product

    provided to them to tackle the consumer. From consumer as our direct/end user we

    Sanjay Pradhan: Founder & CEO

    Sanjay Pradhan, who is the Founder & CEO of Max Secure Software, has been

    recognized for his leadership and team-building skills in technology and management.

    He has held a successful International career of almost two decades starting in the

    U.S.A with companies pioneering in Real Time Dynamic Simulation, Artificial

    intelligence, designing and deploying Control systems using Batch Processes. At a

    Fortune 500 company, he successfully held various positions with increasing

    responsibilities in the technical and business development. He traveled extensively to

    work with a large diverse client base. His key responsibilities during his tenure at the

    Fortune 500 firm was establishing the India office where he developed and managedkey client-relationships and delivered solutions. At Max Secure Software, he is

    responsible for overall business Strategy, Marketing and Product development.

    He received his B.S in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.)

    Kanpur in 1986. He did his M.S from Carnegie Mellon University, (C.M.U.) Pittsburgh in

    1987, in Artificial Intelligence and Optimization.

    Rachna Pradhan: Co-Founder & CTO
