In some circumstances, such as in the weaning of piglets, the gastric secretion is not sufficient to lower the pH to the necessary levels for a correct digestion of feeds.

Acidlab reduces the pH of the water and in the pigs’ both. The reduction of the pH in the stomach has the following benefits:• A better digestion of nutrients. • A reduction of the growth of pathogenic

bacteria . • Enhancement of enzyme activity.

The acidifiers of Acidlab exerts an antibacterial effect against the pathogenic bacteria that can contaminate drinking water.

In low pH, the acids of Acidlab penetrate the bacteria, destroying them.

Correct digestion in pigs and piglets requires an acid pH in the stomach

INDICATIONS Acidifier for drinking water.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION ROUTE Oral solution for administration in drinking water. Administer 0.1 to 0.5 liters of Acidlab per 1000 liters of water to achieve a pH in drinking water of 5.0 to 6.0.

USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
