New 2016 Tomato Descriptions (1) Jetsetter (64 days; Indeterminate hybrid) Jetsetter sacrifices nothing for it's early maturity -‐ delivers great flavor in large 8 oz. fruits that are smooth, juicy, flattened globes, with consistently huge yields and excellent disease resistance. (2) Sunrise Bumblebee (65-‐70 days; indeterminate hybrid). This newly bred cherry tomato line has extraordinary beauty and superb flavor. Orange fruits are striped with pink and yellow. (3) Black Cherry (65-‐70 days; indeterminate heirloom). Full-‐flavored cherry with distinctive purple-‐black color. One inch fruits with the juicy, meaty texture and sweet, rich flavor characteristic of all Russian black tomatoes. Very productive plants, good disease resistance. (4) Marvel Striped (85 days; indeterminate heirloom). Large yellow-‐orange fruits are streaked with ruby red and have a sweet, fruity taste that is absolutely delicious. Tomatoes weigh about 1 lb., although they often become 2 lbs. or even more. Large harvests on vigorous vines.
(5) Blue Beauty (80 days; indeterminate hybrid). The biggest of the blue Indigo series, this beefsteak reaches 8 oz. and has excellent taste. They turn very dark blue wherever the sun hits them, resulting in beautiful tomatoes with dark blue tops and deep red bottoms (where the sun does not directly hit them). Very productive. (6) Fahrenheit Blue (65-‐75 days; indeterminate hybrid). A spectacular cherry tomato with intense blue coloration. High yielding, bears cherry fruits in clusters of 8-‐16, with fruits ripening to a dark blue color with red beneath. Very good flavor. (7) Chef's Choice Orange (75 days; indeterminate hybrid). 2014 AAS Vegetable Award Winner. Has a wonderful bright, almost neon, internal color and superior taste and texture for an early maturing orange tomato. Fruits can weigh up to 1 pound. Heavy producer with good disease resistance. (8) Black Krim (80 days; indeterminate heirloom). Russian heirloom tomato. This is a rare and outstanding dark-‐red beefsteak tomato with deep green shoulders. 8-‐16 oz. fruit with wonderfully rich flavor. High yielding.
(9) Rapunzel (68-‐70 days; indeterminate hybrid). Amazingly long trusses of beautiful red cherry tomatoes. Very sweet and flavorful. Great for containers, good disease resistance. (10) Sweet Scarlet Dwarf (75 days; indeterminate hybrid). Vigorous dwarf potato leaf plants produce a heavy yield of medium to large sized (6-‐16 ounces) smooth red fruit, possessing a superb, intense, complex flavor – one of the very best flavored of all of the new Dwarf varieties.
