BACKGROUND

Nirvana are a American grunge band that made the

alternative rock genre a lot more popular. Nevermind is their

second studio album. The iconic cover album of the naked

baby swimming , chasing a 1 dollar bill is one of its main

features. Nirvana released one more album and then the lead

singer Kurt kobain died. This lead the rest of the band to split

up. Many people believe that this album made a huge

difference to how mainstream this of genre music became.

FRONT COVER

The front cover of nirvana album Nevermind Is of a naked

baby swimming chasing after a 1 dollar bill on a fish hook. It

is considered to be one of the most iconic albums covers

ever. The idea of having the picture of the naked infant came

around when two of the band members watched a TV

programme about water births.

BACK COVER

The back cover of the album consisted of the songs on the album and a

hade a theme of water as a background. It also has a picture of a

monkey with something strapped to his back.

THE BOOKLET

The inside of this booklet has some themes that go along with the rest

of the album. The first theme that the booklet has is of the underwater

picture. It also has the same picture of the monkey on the back cover

of the album and a picture of the band members at that time.
