    About NCTS

    • Year-long didactic course for trainees• Topics include: neuroanatomy, neuropathology, clinical syndromes,

    psychometrics, data interpretation, neuroimaging (MRI, MRA, SPECT, PET), behavioral neurology, and professional and practice issues (e.g., case reviews, ABCN-style fact finding exercises, etc.).

    • Typically, NCTS is offered only to UCSD clinical trainees; however, we are interested in potentially expanding our didactic series to a broader audience.– In particular, we are striving to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in training,

    recruitment, and sponsorship of emerging scientist practitioners.• This will be a 3-week trial period to determine feasibility. We will re-evaluate

    whether this is ongoing after that time.
