Amit Hammer

CEO

Amit Hammer is the CEO of Neura. He is a seasoned manager with more than 20 years of business management and broad technical experience. Amit has a proven record of leading global organizations to accelerated growth and consistent increases in profitability through innovative strategic planning, customer oriented product definition, and flawless execution.

Before joining Neura, Amit was based in the Dallas, TX, where he led several IoT connectivity businesses for Texas Instruments Inc. Prior to that he served as an officer at the R&D department of the intelligence corps of the Israel Defense Forces.

Amit holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a M.Sc in Bio-Medical Engineering.

Triinu Magi

CTO / Co-founder

Triinu Magi is co-founder and CTO of Neura. She has 20 years of experience in multiple aspects of software development, including data science, software architecture, development, and management. Previously, Triinu led emerging technologies and the development of adaptive fraud detection models at RSA, the security division of EMC. Before that, she worked for the government of Estonia as a system architect and a manager, leading the development of critical statewide data systems. She has also served as an independent e-voting security analyst for the Estonian and Israeli governments.

Triinu holds two master’s degrees, one in computer science and security from Tallinn Technology University, and another in mathematics from Tallinn University. Triinu is also an inventor who holds nine patents.

Ori Shaashua

Head of product / Co-founder

Ori Shaashua is co-founder and Head of Product at Neura. Ori is an innovator and team operator passionate about the interface between people and technology. Ori lives and breathes product inception, development and delivery. He is a full-stack product maker experienced in design, UX, interaction and branding. Ori spent his career between product designers and data scientists. Previously Ori co-founded Spicebox Labs and has deep expertise in medical device development and consumer IoT.

Ori holds a bachelor of design degree from the Politecnico di Milano and Holon Institute of Technology. Ori also holds four patents.

Gil Mahler

VP of R&D / Co-founder

Gil Mahler is co-founder and Head of R&D for Neura. He is responsible for the infrastructure on which Neura’s customers depend as well as plans for future technical solutions.

Previously, Gil co-founded and headed R&D for Spicebox Labs, where he architected software for connected devices. He was also the co-founder of Tynics LLC, which created mobile phone solutions. In addition, Gil served as software architecture and development consultant at Vario. He also served in the Israeli Directorate of Military Intelligence.

Gil earned a B.S. in computer science from The Academic College of Tel Aviv and an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University.

Kris Bondi

CMO

Neura CMO Kris Bondi is a seasoned marketing professional with more than 20 years international marketing experience. Kris brings her history of creating hockey stick adoption, prominent brand reputation, and substantial mindshare to her role.

Prior to joining Neura, Kris served as Vice President of Global Marketing for Iron.io, a leader in the serverless computing space. Her background includes deep expertise in technology marketing with previous stints at Moka5, TIBCO and Mashery. While at CNW Consulting, Kris advised global brands on GTM and strategic positioning. Her clients included Visa, Starbucks, NEC and Qlik.

Kris holds a BA in communications rhetoric and political science from the University of Pittsburgh.

Gilad Meiri

President / Co-founder

Gilad Meiri is co-founder and President of Neura, leading strategic partnership and investors relations. Before founding Neura, Gilad co-founded and headed SpiceboxLabs, which was a creator of smart consumer devices.

Previously, Gilad defined strategy as a management consultant with TASC Strategic Consulting. Earlier in his career, he served as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces. Gilad holds an M.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he co-founded the Social Venture Fund. He also holds dual B.A. degrees in economics and education from Tel Aviv University. Gilad currently holds two patents.

Outside his professional career, Gilad is the author of three outdoors cookbooks.
