Your NetApp Learning JourneyThis resource helps you plan your NetApp learning journey. It provides a high-level view of the learning paths that are available to you and recommends courses that prepare you to leverage the power of NetApp technology.

There are multiple starting points for various learning paths. Each path focuses on a specific area; for example, unified storage, high performance SAN, multi-vendor storage, or enterprise solutions.

Learning MapThe Customer Learning Map provides learning paths across IT roles—storage administrator, infrastructure architect, and IT generalist. The IT generalist role is designed for members of the IT organization who interact with the storage team. The courses that are recommended for the generalist role provide a basic understanding of NetApp terminology, features, and functionality.

NetApp Customer Learning Journey

The learning map also provides access to course descriptions, information about delivery method and duration, the schedule for instructor-led offerings, and enrollment links for web-based offerings. The instructor-led offerings are available through the NetApp network of Authorized Learning Partners (ALPs). Learning partners accept direct methods of payment and/or training units (TUs), the currency of NetApp University.

Free Training NetApp provides web-based courses to customers at no charge. Web-based courses range from simple lectures to sophisticated, interactive simulations. You can register for web-based courses directly from the learning map. Or, you can browse the LearningCenter to view the extensive training portfolio that is available to you.
