DIRECTIONS FOR USEHIGH OCTANE® ALLEVIATE™ Gastric Support Supplement is formulated to support gastric health and proper pH for cattle, pigs, lambs and goats fed for exhibition.

The amount fed per day depends on the species, age and weight of the animal. Feed according to the directions below.

SHOW PIGS: Feed 2 ounces per day for every 50 lbs. of bodyweight up to 8 oz per day under normal feeding conditions. (example: 50 lb. pig = 2 oz/day; 200 lb. pig = 8 oz/day). During periods of stress, feed an additional 2 oz/day during the middle of the day as a treat or snack. The peak period of stress is usually 150 lbs. to show.

SHOW CATTLE: Feed 12 to 24 ounces per day as a buffering agent. During periods of stress, bloat, and/or acidosis, feed 24 ounces per day.

SHOW LAMBS/GOATS: Feed 1 ounce per every 50 lbs. of body weight per day. During periods of stress, feed 2-4 oz per day.

CAUTION: Store in a dry, well-ventilated area protected from rodents and insects. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, performance loss or death. USE ONLY AS DIRECTED.

Acidosis (the result of low rumen pH) causes ruminants to be off feed with digestive stress. Gastric heath and ruminal acidosis are exacerbated in the show industry due to feeding systems, management systems and the inevitable stressors of the show ring world.

SOME GOOD MANAGEMENT PRACTICES INCLUDE:

• Feed a quality show feed for modern show animals.

• Be consistent with feeding times and amounts.

• Never skip or miss a meal.

• Make sure water is always clean, fresh, cool and abundant.

• When making nutritional changes, take 3 to 5 days to transition from the old feed to the new, mixing them at 75:25, 50:50, 25:75 (old:new feed, respectively) and finally 100% of the new feed.

• Start High Octane® supplements slowly and increase slowly.
