Note: This position does not provide sponsorship for employment status (e.g. H-1B visa status). POSITION SUMMARY: Our Brand Management interns actively learn through real-world marketing projects derived from our real-time business or community needs. Your 12 weeks assigned to one of our brand teams will challenge your analytical, strategic and creative wit. Through a series of projects specifically designed to target those agilities, we'll take you on a summer journey that will help you transition from classroom theory to practical business application. You'll be a fully contributing member to your assigned brand team, but you won't go at it alone. Mentorship and performance feedback are important to your success and growth, so you can expect your supervisor and other brand team members to coach you along the way. You'll be expected to make meaningful and measurable contributions to our business and community during your time with us, and where successful, we are very proud of our track record for making full-time offers of employment to our interns and then developing them into our future marketing leaders. Work with creative agencies to develop creative elements to support the recommended plan for enhancing brand loyalty,

Analytical

Analysis of past Litter promotions, especially digital promotions / coupons, and their impact on the business (sales, brand health metrics, repeat purchase, etc).

Develop a strategy to enhance loyalty and repeat purchase with our consumer segment. The plan should include activities that Tidy Cats can execute beginning in 2014 .

Previous Intern Projects

Work with the appropriate agency to develop a minimum of 2 sample pieces of creative that bring your portfolio strategy to life. As part of the final presentation share the creative direction that brought the creative to life.

Analyze loyalty within the dog snacks category leveraging Nielsen, Millward Brown, and any other applicable data to identify loyalty dynamics and drivers for the category and their implications on NPPC and its key competitors. Identify key learnings and opportunities for the NPPC snacks portfolio.

Analytical

Building on the findings of your analytical project, build a case for and recommend a portfolio strategy for NPPC that maximizes the effectiveness of its marketing spend. Strategy should include the following:
