NEPNI and societal affection: at a Glance
Whenever “Healthcare” word comes into our ears, we preferably believe in the organized provision
of medical attention and care towards people of all age and gender. The healthcare careers do not
just include the doctors, surgeons etc. but also the nurses and paramedical staffs, who often come
to mind first when people think of healthcare sector. Administrators, therapists, paramedics and
technology professionals all have a place in helping people live well.
NEPNI TRUST, a well versed and well known consortium, is vehemently supporting and helping
the society not only by providing a quality education, but also generating a vast section of job
opportunity. The students here are under qualified sheds and also being placed highly in the well
known health section giants. NEPNI has been contributing not only locally but also on a national
level scenario in all the prospects. According to William Osler, “The trained nurse has become one of
the great blessings of humanity, taking a place beside the physician and the priest”. Also according
to Donna Wilk Cardillo “Nurses are the heart of healthcare”. As the Northeastern states of the
country lacks in specialized healthcare, NEPNI has been serving as a backbone of the healthcare
sector. The health ration is also been boosted by the NEPNI Group in the entire nation.
Who is not aware of the unemployment situation? We at NEPNI, try to boost the families by
providing them at least a job and provide them an income source to their respective family.
Spinning around the facilities, recently we have developed a specialized OPD for the Physiotherapy
department for the elderly people. Seminars and workshops of national level are held at regular
intervals to keep people informed and also updated regarding the healthcare sector and the
facilities that are being procured by NEPNI for the welfare for mankind. High end Radio imaging
instruments have also increased the popularity of the Premier Institute in the field of Nursing and
Paramedical.
Vision with a mission:
NEPNI TRUST, NEPNI Group of Institutions, have always been in the frontline in aiding the needy
and providing the poor and weaker section of the society. Also to mention, the collaborations
with esteemed Institutions like Apollo, Fortis, Excel Care etc. has found us placing our students
aspiring in this particular field at handsome salary package deals annually. Tie up with Saudi Arabia
has also led to the popularization of this Institute. Many more collaborations are on its way for a
betterment of the society, both in healthcare and also in placements of the job aspiring students.
On behalf of NEPNI PUBLIC CHARITABLE TRUST Mr. Babul Ali
Executive President
CHAIRMAN
I am happy to give this message to the prospectus of NEPNI Group of Institutions, Guwahati which is a unit of NEPNI Public Charitable Trust, Hatigaon, Guwahati, Assam. Our Trust focuses mainly to promote education in Health sector. Hence, we started NEPNI school of Nursing in 2007 and conducted GNM diploma course in July 2007 after obtaining permission from Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and approval from Assam Nursing Council and Health And Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam. ANM course was added in 2015. Now we have above 200 students persuing training course.
In compliance with INC norms, NEPNI Trust have constructed a 5 storey building at Alikash, No.1 Singimari, Kamrup(R) where we would start B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic Nursing Course in this year 2020 and there we have smart classrooms and state of the art laboratories and fully finished “A” grade hostel rooms and kitchens.
Moreover, our Trust set ready to start Paramedical Course of 2 years, 3 years diploma and degree courses respectively in the year 2020. It is therefore NEPNI Trust would justify the full range of education and training in health sector.
Our Trustees under my guidance and dynamic activity of Executive President, NEPNI Trust is progressing fast and hence it is upgraded to NEPNI Group of Institutions. A 100 bedded hospitals of 4 storey building is in the pipeline in the same campus for easily transport and training of the nursing and paramedical students and affordable cheaper treatment of the patients in NEPNI hospital.
NEPNI Trustees would humbly appeal to the generous rich people to donate and invest to complete our hospitals project soon.
In fine, it is my bounden duty to appreciate the efforts of our NEPNI family including teaching and non-teaching staffs and the Trustees. I am very happy that New Prospectus for various Nursing and Paramedical courses at North East Paramedical and Nursing Institute (NEPNI) Guwahati, is being released. I appreciate the effort put in by the NEPNI Trust under the very able and enthusiastic leadership of the Executive President and team.
A prospectus is absolutely essential for any Institution. The syllabus, the curriculum should be made with guidance from the University and regularly updated, as new information comes in very rapidly in Health Sciences.
This is required more nowadays, especially at litigations for negligence whether true or not are becoming common; doctors and nurses need to practice highest standards of care
I have been associated with teaching, patient care and research for the last 38 years, as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, and Fetal Medicine Super- specialist at AIIMS Delhi. Hence, I stress the need for deliberations and spread of knowledge in such matters.
I wish the Institution all the best.
Yours Sincerely, Prof. Dipika Deka, MD, FICOG, FIMSA, FICMCH

I am pleased to be associated with NEPNI group of institutions, Guwahati, from their inception days. Here and there I was glad to be of assistance especially for the Nursing programs.
Now the Institution has grown in leaps and bounds which is a pleasure to see and is praiseworthy. NEPNI is now heading to be one of the leading Institutions in Assam Private Sector. I have learnt that they are going to shift to their permanent site at Hajo, Kamrup Rural, which is going on with massive construction. All health care is promised to be offered under the same roof, as I am told and had been understood.
Further, the institute is going to offer some paramedical courses viz Physiotherapy, MLT, Optometry etc (from 2020-21 sessions) and others besides expanding vertically with courses like B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing to the heights of PhD.
It is indeed very encouraging to watch the organization grow from a scratch to a full-blown giant. This had all been made possible by the dedicated and committed contribution of a handful of individuals, working untiringly.
I wish NEPNI, all the best for their future endeavours!

I am glad to learn that NEPNI group of Institutions is in the process of bringing out the Institute Prospectus 2020, which is indeed a laudable feature for showcasing the deliberations of the Institute.
I wish to acclaim the efforts of this Institute to broaden the vistas of Paramedical courses of 2 years, 3 years diploma and degree courses respectively as well as addition of pertinent courses such as B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic Nursing in the year 2020.

Education is one the important factor which determines the status of women. We
thrive not only for their education but also make them employable and provide
them an opportunity to earn through expertise and thereby contribute value their
lives as well as the society.
l Women are the first teachers of their children - The female education in India is
highly necessary for the future of the country as women are the first teachers of their
children the future of the nation. If education of women is getting ignored, it would
be the ignorant of bright future of the nation.
l Initiate social and economic development - Education and employment will
empower women to come forward and contribute towards the development and
prosperity of the country. So long as women remain backward and economically
dependent on men, the helpless condition of them cannot be changed.
l Economic empowerment and independence will only come through proper
education and employment of women. Education helps a woman to live a good
life. Her identity as an individual would never get lost. She can read and learn
about her rights. Her rights would not get trodden down. And she can be self-
sufficient and supply to her needs.
l Overall and sustainable development - The life or condition of women would
improve a lot, if we take a broad outlook in the field of women education.
Educated girls and women are aware of the importance of health and hygiene.
Through health education, they are empowered to lead a healthy life-style.
Educated mothers can take better care of both herself and her children.
By educating a man, only a man can be educated however educating a woman,
whole country can be educated. Lack of women education weakens the powerful
