• Neon Signal Mapping with the 3550R or 8800SX uses the following components:

• TRX Tracking Unit• TP-LINK Portable Wireless Router/Access Point• Neon Signal Mapper App (Android)• Neon Command App (Windows® Computer)



• The TRX Tracking Unit is a user worn sensor accessory that supports collection and processing of sensor data to deliver 3D indoor location.

• Neon tracking unit includes temperature compensated:

• Triaxial gyroscope• Triaxial accelerometer• Magnet sensor• Barometric pressure sensor

• The portable wireless router provides the communication link between the Android phone or tablet and the 3550R/8800SX.

• A fourth way for you to visualize the data collected is the Signal Quality Measurement.

• What is the Signal Quality Measurement?• Signal Power level isn’t always enough to determine the quality of the in

building signal.• The signal quality can be affected by multipath, interference and the overall

noise level.• The Signal quality measurement combines the Signal Power, Modulation

Fidelity and BER into one signal quality determination.• This measurement should be used to find trouble spots that could not be

identified with signal power alone.
