Responsible for redesigning corporate and DR site network from legacy equipment to

Cisco including Cisco ASA's, 3750 stack and 2960 switches. Configured all equipment

for complex environment including numerous extranets, VPN connectivity,

virtualization, security and cloud voice solutions . Provided ongoing support for network changes and configuration management.

Tennessee Valley Authority - Senior Design Engineer. Responsible for designing

and configuring site conversions from Exreme network gear to Cisco network

equipment at all corporate campuses and hydro, fossil and nuclear plants. Work with

Cisco 3750, 2960, 2811, 6509-E, 4507-E, 3900 series routers/switches, Nexxus 7k, 5k

switch and 2k fabric extenders, Infoblox DNS administration, Symantec Endpoint

protection, Lan Enforcer, Extreme Summit x450, Summit 48s, Alpine 3808, Black

January 2009 – June 2009

Bridge2Solutions – Short term security consulting assignment to design,

install and configure pci compliant architecture for migration of financial services customers environment from single ASA firewall to a dual failover pair. The 2 pairs of ASA 5520 series firewalls were set up in stateful, standby

configuration. I was also responsible for setting up multiple context Cisco 4700 ACE load balancers. Internet facing ASA’s also included IPS’s which I upgraded and configured. I also set up 2- 3750 switch stacks to support

virtualized server farm. Migrated site-to-site vpn tunnel to T1 router connection for wan connectivity. 3750, 4710, 5520.

June 2008 - January 2009

EDS – Senior network engineer/ architect supporting EDS customer account. Responsible for planning network changes, documentation, top tier support

Home Depot – Senior Network Engineer for Mergers and Acquisitions team.

My position was responsible for network integration of Home Depot Supply acquisitions. Responsible for interfacing companies into Home Depots MPLS network which included OSPF and BGP integration.. Duties included network

design, project management, implementation, configuration and documentation of switch, router, firewall, VPN and DNS changes and documentation for network management. I worked with Cisco 2811, 3725, 3550, 3750, Checkpoint Firewall, QIP, BigIP, 3DNS, FRATM, MPLS and ATM.

involved in the configuration of Catalyst 2950, 3550, 3560, 3750 switches, F5 3DNS, F5 Big IP and Pix 506 firewall. I also installed and configured Orion network management platform and installed network equipment in data center.

May 2004- February 2005

Graphics Packaging International – Senior Network Engineer for global

paperboard conglomerate. I was responsible for the configuration, installation, upgrade and day-to-day troubleshooting of a nationwide frame-relay network consisting of over 300 network devices. I was involved in the design and

implementation of changes necessary due to a merger of two companies which included the migration from 2 separate networks and routing protocols into a unified EIGRP autonomous system. I was involved in the transition from

outsourced network management to in-house network management. This transition included reconfiguring previously managed equipment including implementation of GLBP, NTP and logging network wide, Visio WAN

and LAN documentation, Visual Uptime WAN monitoring installations, and implementing out-of-band management. I worked with Cisco 3745, 3640, 2610, 2611 routers and 4507, 3500, 2900, 5500 series switches, Pix 515 firewall, Cisco Aironet and 3030 vpn concentrator.

January 2002- May 2004

Valubond Inc. – Senior Network Engineer. Responsible for all facets of network design, implementation, management and security for web based financial services company. Responsibilities include installation, configuration

and ongoing troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls and VPN concentrators. Responsible for VPN tunnels, administration of DNS, network design and documentation, creating network monitoring with network

management platform including logging and monitoring of syslog and snmp traps. Configured network equipment for snmp, logging, routing and access lists. Administered F5 BIG IP load balancers, WAN circuits including frame

relay, T-1 and ISDN and performed Sniffer troubleshooting. Responsible for racking, cabling, configuration and documentation of new network equipment. Light administrative duties with Backup Exec , Windows 2000, Solaris and

Linux. Responsible for disaster recovery design. Created network management website with MRTG graphs monitoring cpu and bandwidth utilization graphs for production and corporate WANs.

brokerage business WAN and LAN connectivity and ongoing tuning and maintenance of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. Worked with IPsec, NAT, QOS, HSRP, Etherchannel, VLAN’s, VTP, EIGRP and RIP. Worked with

Cisco 5000 and 6500 series switches and 1700, 3600, 2600, 7000 series routers and PIX Firewall. Designed and implemented TACACS enterprise wide using CiscoSecure.
