2. Break-in on WelllingtonThe Ottawa Police Service is investigating a commercial break and enter and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.

On June 19, 2017 at approximately 1:50 am, a suspect broke into a commercial premise located in the 1000 block of Wellington Street West.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 40-50 years old, 5’10” - 6’2” (178cm – 188cm), average build. The male was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with hood tied tightly around face, blue jeans, running shoes, and carried a brown backpack (view picture.)

Anyone with information relating to this break-in, or any other break-in, is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 4533. 3. Missing maleThe Ottawa Police Service is asking for assistance in locating missing male Mr. Bryan Bennett, 76 years old from Ottawa.

Mr. Bennett left his home on the July5, 2017, and has not been seen since. Bennett was last seen on Southvale Crescent in Ottawa. He is a Caucasian male, 5'6" (168 cm) in height, 170 lbs (77kg), light brown balding hair, few days growth of facial hair, his familyis very concerned for his well being.

If you know where Bryan Bennett currently is, please immediately contact Ottawa Police Dispatch at 613-236-1222. If you have information that could assist investigators, but do not know where he is currently, please contact the Ottawa Police Service 613-236-1222 x2355.

4. Missing maleThe Ottawa Police Service Missing Persons Unit continues to look for any information regarding missing Alexander “Sandy” Miller. His family is greatly concerned for his safety due to health issues, as Alexander does not have needed medications with him.

A new picture of Alexander has been provided by his family.

If you know where Alexander Miller currently is, please immediately contact the Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222. If you have information that could assist investigators, but do notknow where he is currently, please contact the Ottawa Police Service 613-236-1222, ext. 2355. Le Service de police de Gatineau et le Service de police d’Ottawa, par l’intermédiaire du Programme d’application sélective en matière de circulation (PASC), mettront l’accent sur la sécurité des cyclistes et le non-respect des feux rouges au cours du mois dejuillet. Sécurité des cyclistes

De 2011 à 2015, il y a eu 1 518 collisions impliquant des cyclistes. Ces collisions ont fait 1 225 blessés et causé 10 décès.

Le non-respect des feux rouges

De 2011 à 2015, il y a eu 3 196 collisions avec comme résultat 1 432 blessés et deux décès.

Le Programme d’amélioration de la sécurité des routes à Ottawa est un important partenariat communautaire liant le Service des incendies d’Ottawa, le Service paramédic d’Ottawa, le Service de police d’Ottawa, Santé publique Ottawa et les Direction générale des transports, et qui s’engage à prévenir et à éliminer des décès et des blessures graves sur la route pour le bien commun à Ottawa, par la voie du changement culturel, de l’engagement communautaire et du développement d’un environnement de transport durable et sûr.

Parmi les participants au Programme d’amélioration de la sécurité des routes à Ottawa, on compte aussi la Gendarmerie royale du Canada (GRC), la Police provinciale de l’Ontario (PPO), la Sûreté du Québec, la Police militaire du ministère de la Défense nationale et le Service de police de Gatineau, visant tous à accroître la sécurité routière pour tous les résidents de la région de la capitale nationale.

Les résidents d’Ottawa ont identifié la sécurité routière parmi leurs grandes priorités. Le Programme d’amélioration de la sécurité des routes à Ottawa s’est engagé à faire appel aux ressources disponibles pour rendre les routes d’Ottawa plus sûres pour ses résidents.

2. Introduction par effraction sur WellingtonL’Unité des introductions par effraction du Service de police d’Ottawa fait enquête sur une introduction par effraction dans un commerce et sollicite l'aide du public afin d'en identifier le responsable.

Le 19 juin 2017 vers 1 h 50, un suspect fit effraction dans des locaux commerciaux situésdans le pâté de maisons des 1000 de la rue Wellington Ouest.

Le suspect a été décrit comme étant un homme de race blanche âgé de 40 à 50 ans, mesurant de 1,78 à 1,88 m (5 pi 10 po - 6 pi 2 po), de carrure moyenne. L'homme était vêtu d'un chandail rouge au capuchon serré autour du visage, d'un jean bleu et d'espadrilles. Il portait aussi un sac à dos brun (voir la photo ci-jointe.)

3. Un homme manque à l’appelLe Service de police d’Ottawa sollicite l'aide de la population afin de retrouver M. Bryan Bennett, âgé de 76 ans et d'Ottawa.

M. Bennett quitta sa demeure le mercredi 5 juillet 2017, et on l'a vu pour la dernière fois dans les environs du croissant Southvale à Ottawa vers 8 h de l'avant-midi. M. Bennett est un homme de race blanche mesurant 1,68 m (5 pi 6 po), pesant 77 kg (170 lb), cheveux brun clair fuyants, barbe de quelques jours. Sa famille s'inquiète grandement pour son bien-être.
