Dear Mr. Fletcher:
Over the last few years we have enjoyed a positive and profitable working relationship between Stanton and Music99.
We find it crucial to always treat our customers and retailers with the level of professionalism they deserve in order to
achieve mutual respect and success in this industry.
The FinalScratch system has seen tremendous success thanks to our free product training. The training was designed to
equip retailers with the skills required to make optimal use of our product. However, sales have been strong everywhere
except in Music99 stores. We attributed this to the refusal to allow your salespeople to attend the free training. We
explored this situation by secret shopping a few Music99 locations. I found that your employees lacked the proper
know-how to effectively sell the product and would often misinform customers or steer them to competitor products.
Although, your company has done a good job with selling other Stanton products, I must express my disappointment.
Ultimately, not taking this opportunity lead to dismal sales of the FinalScratch system, this resulted in a significant loss
for Stanton. It has been decided that if you do not allow your employees to attend the free product training our
company’s management team will strongly consider exploring other retailer options.
We strive to provide the finest quality equipment and customer service to our clientele. To accomplish this we avidly
seek to affiliate ourselves with outstanding companies who will promote our products to the best of their ability with all
the tools provided. Your business has been one of those outstanding companies in the past and we hope to continue that
success into the future.
Sincerely,
Estephanie Ward
