Dear Friends in Christ, I’ve just returned from the wild/remote bush of the primative “Samburu” people, who live in North/Central Kenya.

Partnering with with me was Jay Newsom of Hope of the World Ministries. Every trip is different (even to the same people group) and the Lord always makes away, even when it looks like we are at a dead end! -

But God! From Nairobi, we drove hours north, up into the wild bush of Samburu People. Even Our Samburu Evangelists /Guide (John) said “We are truly deep in to the interiors”. The place is surrounded by wild aminals (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, etc.) and 100% totally unreached for Christ. Many, many of the people had never seen a white man before - much

less heard of Jesus. We slept in a tiny, small dirt road village of a few wooden buildings (shacks) and from there we drove out daily 1-2 hours one way. As John said - “We are do deep in the bush - we don’t have to go far” On the night of our arrival in the bush, we re-ceived word that the 4 wheel drive land cruser that we were to use daily had been wrecked and the company would not give us our money (paid up front in Africa) back! Unfortunately, things like this are a common way of life in Africa and there is no recourse!

We are now stuck deep in the bush?????? The next morning at coffee - John said he heard there was a man in the Village who had a very, very old beat-up Land Rover (4 wheel drive). He rented us the vehicle and the mission was “on”! Only by the grace of God did the car stay together on the trails, dirt roads, and nor roads! “It was truly a miracle” The 1st day out, the Lord brought many (70-80) Samburu together to dig (by hand) a water pond (to catch rain run off) for their cattle.

Normally, you would never find that many to-gether (only 5-15 a time) but because of drought - they came together to dig and prepare for the heavy rains which had started. We preached the only message necessary - Who is Jesus! We carry a big picture of the crucifixtion(3 ft. tall) and explain why Jesus died! All of the sudden, one man yelled out “Did we Samburus kill Jesus!” His heart had really been touched - and in return - so had mine! He had never heard the story of Jesus or His Name! 68 Sambu-ru prayed out loud to receive Jesus and said they

wanted to follow this True God!Friends - this is why I keep going!

Many in the world still waiting to hear The Good News For The First Time. The next morning as we were getting ready to leave to go out - a man came over and started talking to John. John said “This man was at he preaching site yesterday and dreamed all night about us, our words and Jesus. He had walked many miles to come find us and thanked us! Praise God!” In another village - after the sharing of the Gospel - one man came forward to confess his drunkeness and asked forgiveness for beating his wife. He said that he would spend the rest of his life telling other Samburu about this Jesus! One of the most powerful things that happened, took place at an-other village dig (dig for water) - over 60 Samburu had come togeth-er and gave us permission to share the Gospel. Nearly everyone the prayed out loud to ask forgiveness & receive Christ. We then told them about the power of the Holy Spirit (who is God) and that Jesus and the Holy Spirit wanted to come & live in them. We released the Holy Spirit & invited Him to come into them. 18 Primitive Samburu started speaking in tongues & five of them said “Jeus walked up to them.”

Praise God!No way to fake this! They had never even heard of this before! It was like the book of Acts!

Praise God!The last work day was truly a Powerful, Powerful day.

We had gone out a very long (dangerous) way - Driving hugh, dry, river beds. 100 yards wide. The fall rains were already starting all through the area. John had heard of this big village of more than 100 Sam-

buru. To get to them would be dangerous and risky due to crossing this huge dry river bed. It it rains - we would be stuck for several days - no food, no extra water, dangerous animals etc.

We spent several hours there, sharing Christ, teaching, praying for the sick! The Head Elder (Cheif) had put a curse on his older son for leaving the village and had become a Christian in a town, hours away. After hours of teaching/preaching - he was the 1st one to repent and ask for-giveness. He said he wanted to see his son and bless him - Not curse him

Powerful! We then prayed for the blind/deaf/sick!

They brought to us an old blind man (both eyes) after about 5-6 different prayers(sorry sometimes a miracle takes more than one prayer)

His eyes opened and he chased us around trying to touch us! (this is on video)

Praise God!Jesus is the same yesterday, today

and forever! All the people were singing and happy. Je-sus and the Great Holy Spirit had saved and healed in a totally dark place.

No white man had ever been there only 1 or 2 had ever heard Jesus name!

John came and said - “We must go now!” The rains are coming this way. In our ex-citement, we didn’t see boiling, dark clouds forming and we had a ways to go to get to the river bed before the rains beat us. Flash floods are very real this time of the

year!We left in a rush and drove dangerously fast to beat the flood waters coming to the river bed. It began to pour down huge drops - We were in deep trouble and everyone started praying!

We hit the river bed and water was already starting to flow about one foot deep - but at any second, a huge wall of water could come rolling down as we had to drive “up” the river bed for about 10 minutes. It is raining so hard you can’t see! This was a very scary situation! All of the sudden, our trial appeared and we got to the otherside! 10 minutes longer and we would not have made it!

Praise God! Our troubles were still not over! - Several miles up the dirt road/trail we got hopelessly stuck in a mud ditch. With dark coming soon (that is when the animals are active) we got out & started walking. Our village was about 3-5 miles away, but we had no choice. After about 1 hour of

walking - God supernaturally unstuck our land rover and we were picked up -

Praise God!

Just another day reaching the totally unreached

out where none or few (if any) have ever been!

This is the heart of the Fa-ther - Reaching those who have No Chance To Hear!

Jesus was glorified! His Kingdom Extended! To God Be The Glory!
