One-bay height server blades paired with storage or tape blades:

Install sets of server blades and their direct attached storage/tape blades into paired/horizontally adjacent bays as below.

Tow bay height blades:

Install server blades into the bays as below.

Install two-bay height server blades in pairs, or install a Slot Cover instead of the second blade in horizontally adjacent bays (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8) as below.

Product Overview

Enclosure Management Card

The enclosure management card provides the following management feature:

Web console integration

The enclosure management card web console displays a list of the Blade Enclosure H v2 / -M enclosures

that are installed in the same rack cabinet. Via the list, the web consoles of other enclosures are available

to view.

Power capping management

For power consumption control, a maximum power consumption value can be set through the enclosure

management card for each enclosure or for the whole blade enclosure group in the same rack.

vIO Control

The Virtual IO control feature virtualizes the MAC address / WWN / UUID / serial number of server blades.
