Welcome!WeareBlazing Into the FutureattheNotreDamePreparatorySchool’s2017Gala!Tonight’ssuccesswillpropelusfurtheronourmissionofprovidingoutstandingeducationalexperiencesforallNDPstudents.Thankyouforsupportingthiseffort!

Educationiscontinuouslyevolving.Technology,groupcollaborationandhands-onwork,interdisciplinarystudies,andmoreshapethewayourteachersteachandourstudentslearn.Thesechangesareresponsestoasocietythatdemandsaneducatedcitizenrywhocannavigatecomplexproblems,engageglobally,developcreativesolutions,manifestideassuccessfully,andmanagechangewithconfidence,compassion,andcare.Thatiswhat21st-centurylearningisabout,andthatiswhatwearecommittedtoteachingatNotreDamePreparatorySchool!

Blazing Into the Futureismorethanagalatheme;itisaconceptthathasinformedthewayNotreDameeducatesyoungwomensincetheschool’sfoundingnearly150yearsago.TheSchoolSistersofNotreDamewereblazingintotheirfuturewhentheyopenedtheirfirstU.S.schoolinthelate19th-century.Atthattime,theyknewtheywouldencounterresistance,uncoverneeds,andinitiateprogramsthatdidnotbeforeexist,alltoprovidetheeducationnecessaryforyoungwomentochangetheworld.Althoughtoday’stacticsmaybedifferent,thisfuture-forwardeducationalphilosophyremainsthesameatNDPandatSSNDinstitutionsaroundtheworld.Tonight’seventsupportsNDPandenablestheschooltocontinuetostretch,grow,evolve,anddevelopallthewhileremaininggroundedinthecorevalueoftransformativeeducation.

AUCTION PROCEDURESRULES

3. ThevaluerangespresentedonauctionitemsareestimatesonlyandarenotwarrantedbyNotreDamePreparatorySchoolfortaxpurposesorgeneralvalue.Theseareintendedasaguideforprospectivebuyers.Finalbidsmaybeaboveorbelowthelistedranges.

LIVE BIDDING

1. ImmediatelypriortothestartoftheLiveAuction,theBestofLiveRafflewillbedrawn.TheitempickedbythewinnerwillthenbeimmediatelytakenofftheLiveAuctionexceptinthecasewheretheremaybetwoofthatitemavailable.
