industry, specially in aircraft maintenance and certication. NDC - IAME has it's own aircrafts including

Learjet-23, Cessna-150 & Power Glider; and having tie-up with AIESL (Air India), hence students can get all

the knowledge and basic familiarization of aircraft system as per the syllabus and guidance prescribed by the

Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. Students get high-tech audio-

visible classes, workshop, engine airframe system workshop and electrical/ Instrument/ Radio Navigation

workshop. All the faculty members are highly experienced and sharing their full knowledge and experience

It covers the Mechanical Parts of Aircraft such as Air Frame, Engine, Landing Gear system, Hydraulic system etc...

There are two streams Courses in the AME.

Semester/Phase wise detailed curriculum is as follow,

The Entire course curriculum of 2400 hours is divided into four semesters/phases. Each semester/phase includes 600 hours of balanced theoretical & practical training program covering detailed syllabus given in CAR 66. Total 300 Hours of the practical training will be conducted by our training partner i.e. Air India Engineering Service Ltd at their own facility at Mumbai Airport. This 300 hours of eld training will be divided in to two sessions of 150 hours each. The rst session of 150 hours is included in Semester/Phase- III training and second session of 150 hours eld training is part of the Semester/Phase- IV training.

Heavy Aircraft for practical for students which is Learjet – 23 tted with Jet Engine in ground running condition.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course gives access to real time aircraft experience. It is a balanced practical and theory-based course for the AME license from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India, for maintaining airplanes. Making the modern aircraft airworthy cannot be made possible but for the technical skill and hard work of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. They are primarily responsible for keeping the aircraft in airworthy and also issue the certicate of airworthiness before the ight. Essential systems like airframe, engine, instruments, radio and navigation equipment etc., are also being certied by Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. They work for airlines, maintenance divisions of aero- engine manufactures and approved aircraft maintenance organizations.

CAMPUS ADMISSION

The institute also includes a well-equipped library, computer centre, administrative block, play-ground and healthcare.

The institute has tie-up with hostel that have separate boys and girls hostel for their accommodation. Hostel is well furnished with a modern central kitchen which maintains safe and hygienic food standards. Student's amenity like common room, dining hall, games, telephone and medical facility are also available.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Management Rights

The institute maintains absolute discipline and students violating the same are liable for severe disciplinary action including expulsion / suspension from the institute / hostel.

A student should secure minimum 90% attendance for appearing in semester examination. Those, short of attendance will not be allowed to appear for the semester examination.

For any matter not governed by the rules and regulations given in this prospectus, rules will be laiddown as and when necessary; and the same will be notied. The students are liable to abide by the same.

Ragging

Semester Examination

Ragging of any kind is banned. Students found guilty are liable for severe punishment including dismissal from the institute / hostel and if necessary, the matter may be referred to the police.

Discipline

After start of course no fees will be refunded.

Uniform: Uniform is Compulsory for students -White Full Sleeve Shirt- Blue Trouser, Blue Blazer, Blue Tie, Black Shoes, Apron for practical.

Semester fees is to be paid in maximum two installments, One at the beginning of Semester and second at the mid of semester.

For Bank Loan, necessary letter will be issued by Institute on admission and payment of 50% Semester fees. Bank loan amount in no circumstances will be paid back to the student directly.

Books Fees : 30,000/- once only. Uniform Fees:

If the student leaves the hostel before completion of two semesters, he/she shall pay fee for two semesters.

For any disputes, matter can be settled in jurisdiction of courts at Vadodara only.

Hostel: Hostel Fee is not included in fee structure mentioned above.

3. Library Fees :

Admission fee paid is non-refundable.

50% of the tuition fees will be refunded if admission is cancelled before 10 days of commencement of semester.

4. Air India Training Fees : 1,30,000/-

The management reserves the right to cancel the admission of the candidates of the institute and hostel. In matters of admission, training and discipline, the decision of the management will be the nal and legally binding.

Any student leaving the institute midway shall pay his/her entire fees for whole academic year.

ABOUT VADODARA

Vadodara has a rich historical background. The ardent historian can trace Vadodara’s history over 2000 years and more. However, the recent threads can be picked up when the Moghul rule over the city came to an end in 1732, when Pilaji brought the Maratha activities in Southern Gujarat to a head and captured it. Except for a short break, Vadodara continued to be in the hands of the Gaekwads from 1734 to 1949.

Maharaja Sayajirao was one of the foremost administrators and reformers of his times. He initiated a series of bold socio-economic reforms. He attached great importance to economic development and started a number of model industries to encourage initiative, and then handed back the working industries to private enterprise. He started model textile and tile factories. It is as a result of his policy of industrial development that Vadodara is today one of the most important centres for textile, chemical and oil industries today. He introduced a number of social reforms. In no department of administration has the far-sighted policy of this wise ruler been more conspicuous than in education, and in none have the results been more real and tangible. He boldly introduced compulsory primary education and a library movement (the rst of its kind in India) to augment his adult education scheme.

Modern Baroda (now known as Vadodara) is a great and tting memorial to its late ruler, Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III (1875-1939 AD). It was the dream of this able administrator to make Vadodara an educational, industrial and commercial centre and he ensured that his dream would

come true.

Vadodara is situated on the banks of the river Vishwamitri (whose name is derived from the great saint Rishi Vishwamitra). The city was once called Chandravati, after its ruler Raja Chandan, then Viravati, the abode of the brave, and then Vadpatra because of the abundance of banyan trees on the banks of the Vishwamitri. From Vadpatra it derived its present name Baroda or Vadodara.
