2012 COMMIT TO VALLEY CITY STATE UNIVERSITY

My experience with NCSA was very positive. When I started looking at colleges I really had no idea what to do. After learning a lot about the process using all of the NCSA tools, I started to understand that I would have numerous options. In particular, the college search tool was critical to finding the ideal set of universities for me. Numerous coaches have started their recruiting process as a result of the NSCA website and information.

2013 COMMIT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII - MANOA

Thanks again! My experience with NCSA has been awesome. I’ve learned a lot about how the college process works. The best part of my experience here at NCSA is having the opportunity to show myself to other coaches, and getting to know more and more information about what schools need in order to qualify for that school. Sharing my experience with you guys is a blessing. With your help and guidance, I had a huge edge on being prepared and knowing what school was the right fit for me. I thank you for all of your support.

2012 COMMIT TO LAKE-SUMPTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Thank you! NCSA helped me in many ways. I liked that I was able to utilize the recruiting board and college board to scope out different schools. Also, the information and timeline on how to go about the recruiting process was VERY helpful. Recruiting has become such a big business and there are so many things to do to be proactive in this process. I know that I could have used your website more, but I just didn’t take the time. Lake Sumter wasn’t my first choice of schools, but they offered me a full ride and the chance to be a starting freshman -- it can’t get any better than that. Thank you for all you have done to help me get this accomplished.

2012 COMMIT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTEVALLO

- BASEBALLATHLEADER

I feel the experience went much smoother and both my parents and I were

much more informed and educated to what to expect due to the NCSA help.

I had multiple contacts from coaches and as many as four other offers that

I feel would not have been made without the distribution of my profile and

video. I received VERY little information or help with the process other than

what I got through NCSA and therefore, I believe the linking up with NCSA was

invaluable. Communication from NCSA was prompt and always professional

and informative. I found the site to be easy to use with clear instructions for

the video and other exercises throughout the process. My decision to play

with Montevallo had nothing to do with its divisional play but for a good fit for

my academic desires and early playing time as well as a total good fit for me.

I would highly recommend NCSA to any friend or players who have the desire

to play at the next level. I hear over and over that players wish they had known

what to expect and had been informed of the recruiting process and I feel that I

was well informed because of NCSA and its support. Thank you again.

2012 COMMIT TO CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA

The recruiting process for me was rather hectic. I did a lot of showcases this summer. I think that and my NCSA page really helped put me in front of coaches, especially since I am from a small town and don’t get a lot of exposure. NCSA also help guide me step by step through the whole process. The website itself was easy to use and a great place to put all my information in one place. What helped me the most was being matched to college programs and then having a starting point on what colleges to email about my interest. And it was great to be able to email my link with all my information and video.

Last year, we went to your seminar at Dallastown High School. Our son didn’t want to go but he did at our request. When he went in he was a high school baseball player going through the motions without any real direction.

Last fall he decided to go to Harford Comm. College in Bel Air, MD. After trying out, he signed his letter of intent on Jan.16 at Harford with 8 other young men. It was an exciting day in all our lives. Every person we dealt with at NCSA was 100% professional. You are truly appreciated. Thank you for everything,

2012 COMMIT TO GRACE BIBLE COLLEGE

What helped me the most was the resource tools that were provided with my NCSA membership. It really helped me to be able to search schools that I was unfamiliar with. I was not aware of Grace Bible College when my recruiting process first started and when I was doing research I discovered they had many of the things that I was looking for in a school and basketball program. I was able to get the coaches contact information and I emailed him a letter and my recruiting profile and it took off from there. Coach Bailey and I really made a good connection and I am very excited to be part of their winning tradition…it was great having all the tools to contact coaches professionally and have all the information about schools at your fingertips.

2012 COMMIT TO COLORADO COLLEGE

My experience with NCSA was very helpful. Especially with helping prepare for conversations with coaches over the phone and in person. The thing I liked the best about [NCSA] was guiding questions you provided for coach interviews and the highlight videos you made.

2012 BROTHERS COMMIT TO HENDRIX COLLEGE

Being stuck out here in the middle of the ocean was a challenge for recruiting for us. If we were still on the mainland it would have been easier for coaches to come watch us and for us to visit colleges. Using the resources at NCSA helped us tremendously. Our profiles and tapes reached hundreds of coaches and we were able to find the right fit in a college, classes, and basketball team that wants us both. We just wish we had started a year sooner so we would not have felt so much pressure to find a home for the next 4 years. So many coaches know years in advance who they want to recruit so you should start earlier then we did. Thank you NCSA for getting us to the next chapter of our lives.

2012 COMMIT TO HAMILTON COLLEGE

My experience with NCSA was great! At first I didn’t think that it would be an easy process, but after getting my highlight tape up I got flooded with emails. One thing that I really enjoyed about NCSA was being able to listen to a webinar. I learned a lot about how to talk to coaches and what an introductory email should include. With these new skills I learned from various webinars, I was able to talk on the phone with a couple different coaches and have an outline of what to ask/say. Since the beginning stages on my profile on NCSA I had been talking to the new coach at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. We got to know each other and eventually my Dad and I made a visit to the school. I wouldn’t have found Hamilton without NCSA, and it is a perfect match for me! There was always someone available via phone call or email. I never felt like I was in the process alone.

2012 BROTHERS COMMIT TO CLARKE UNIVERSITY

When I arrived for signing day, the Head Coach for XC/Track was there to say hi and it really set the tone for the weekend. He was so funny as he gave me a few names of those still “undecided” to not only seek out but try to convince them to attend Clarke. Even my Admissions Counselor shared with my Dad how every counselor envies him because I am so on top of everything. If only they knew I had used that Tasks List and learned so much from my “coach” to respond promptly to every request and email.

There were times my mom was so frustrated with our Athletic Department and it was fun to see how my parents built relationships with the coaches as well and assured them of so many things. Heck when it came to the Financial side of things, during one visit to Clarke, I asked my Admissions Counselor to see if I could meet with Financial Aid. Not only did he set that up but I met with the Director to see what we could do. And when I asked about Nursing, I had the opportunity to meet with the Head of the Nursing Dept. So now, I’m on a first-name basis with all of those key people. As NCSA has taught me, it’s all in the relationships but you had best come prepared.

2012 COMMIT TO CORNELL UNIVERSITY

My NCSA experience was definitely a helpful one. In my opinion, NCSA helped most with explaining the rules and timelines of football recruiting. I switched to football from soccer, so I really didn’t know much about the sport and the recruiting process. I signed up for NCSA around February of 2011, and immediately got to work following the set by step instructions given. I think this proactive approach is what really led to my ultimate college decision. I noticed that I was a lot further ahead in the process than a lot of other local kids who had college aspirations. NCSA always answered my questions promptly, and really taught me how to communicate with coaches. NCSA really guided me through the process, and helped me stay up to date with what I should be doing. In my opinion, the “To-Do List” was really the most important thing that helped me to be proactive in my recruitment.

2009 TRANSFER TO WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY

First off, thanks to NCSA for everything they had done for me. The recruiting process is agonizing and exciting at the same time. It’s very stressful, especially being a mid-year transfer. The season ended, and I felt like I needed to make a choice right away. Western Michigan was my second visit, and it was great. Everything about the visit went well. [Coach] is a great guy, and very personable. I had the opportunity to hang out and speak with him a lot during the duration of my trip. Other visits I took, this was not the case with the head coach. I love [Coach’s] defensive philosophy, and the way he gets the tempo going in practice. Aggressive! A big reason for me choosing WMU is because I felt I had the opportunity to come in and make an impact right away. NCSA helped a lot with my recruiting process, especially with getting my tape out to these college coaches. I had a lot of Div. 1 scholarships thanks to NCSA. Everything about the program is great in my opinion, and it’s a great tool for a student athlete to use to get to the next level.

2012 COMMIT TO MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY

Working with NCSA has been a great experience. For the full four years that I have been enrolled, NCSA has kept me on track to reach my goal. I was given exposure to many colleges. Your training sessions, videos and tools explained to me what to expect while going through the recruiting process. You let me know when to take the SAT’s, and how to write letters to the prospective colleges. Putting my highlight video on the Internet showed many colleges my abilities. This helped me get interest from colleges from across the nation. When my family was asked to come to Monmouth University for an official visit, we felt comfortable knowing that we were prepared. We understood the recruiting process and differences in Division I, 2, and 3. What we liked the most is that NCSA gave us the education and tools to successfully complete the recruiting process.

Page 16: NCSA Success Stories

2012 COMMIT TO BROWN UNIVERSITY

NCSA has provided a great experience through the recruiting process. The tools that I found most helpful, in no particular order, after my film was objectively evaluated were:

1. Your Recruiting To-Do List Completion 2. College Search Map 3. Coach Requests and 4. Viewership.

The above tools and excellent consultation and quick email response by NCSA staff enabled me to be proactive in my recruiting process.

Coach Taylor is the BEST! His articles, webcasts, videos, and email feedback greatly helped during my recruiting process. He even watched and provided valuable same day feedback via email on my senior film!

2012 COMMIT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA

My experience with NCSA really helped me to understand the game of recruiting. I learned a lot about working hard off of the field to get noticed by sending emails and calling coaches. I think NCSA did a great job of helping me understand when a coach was interested in me and being prepared to answer any questions they had. I liked that NCSA provided so much information to us about anything we didn’t know. Thank you so much for the help and support with my decision.

2011 COMMIT TO WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY

My experience with NCSA was very exciting. I received lots of phone calls & emails from coaches. It was great speaking with them in my kind of language “FOOTBALL”. I emailed all of the coaches that viewed my profile and explained to them what I do. We chatted by cell phone to be clear of what they want and what I can offer. My coach at Western Illinois was very proactive. He made contact, asked for transcripts/records, check me out & set up my official visit of the campus. The official visit was fantastic and I can’t wait to get on the field. The best part of the NCSA experience was putting the highlight video out there & the qualifying of schools. I appreciate ALL of your help & can’t wait to do what I love.

2012 COMMIT TO ROCHESTER COMMUNITY & TECHNICAL COLLEGE

NCSA was great for me. Being a player that didn’t get much attention from the big schools, it matched me with junior colleges and I’m getting an opportunity to play again and have another shot at getting to the division 1 level. It made me a great highlight video that lots of coaches loved. I committed on December 5th, and will sign on National Signing day. The one thing I loved from NCSA was how they linked me with college coaches. It was an awesome experience.

2012 COMMIT TO BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY

My recruiting experience was awesome. I had a very late start, but NCSA helped me learn the ropes quickly. My recruiting process would have been frantic and disorganized without NCSA. I would also not have had the confidence that I had gained through NCSA. I visited Bucknell University over the summer and attended one of their games.

I loved the University and its football program, but was not sure early on if I was good enough to see ample playing time there. As my senior season wore on, I realized the massive improvement in my play from the previous year. I was dominating games. I sent Bucknell my senior film and they loved it. Once I realized that I would be able to compete at Bucknell, my heart was set on going there.

2012 COMMIT THE US AIR FORCE ACADEMY(PARENT OF)

As a parent you have to be proactive in the process, there is just too much for the athlete to keep up with and at times it gets very stressful. I think the most important thing that we did was attending the summer camps. After every camp, [my son] contacted the staff with a follow up letter. It is very important that you send highlights out; I started sending [my son’s] highlights out after his 3rd game until his last playoff game. I used the NCSA recruiting system to get address to schools that [my son] was interested in, all of his first contacts were made using the NCSA. Once a relationship was developed I used my regular email to continue sending information. Make sure that you let the coaches know that you are a NCSA client.

2012 COMMIT TO TUSCULUM COLLEGE

We have had an amazing experience with NCSA and are thankful you guys are here. My son attended a high school that only had 70 kids and a football team of 18. He only played one year and for him to be signing on February 1st with the Tusculum Pioneers is super exciting for our family and our school! Thanks NCSA! We appreciate you!

Laureen and I want to thank everyone at NCSA. This would not have been possible without all of you. There are not enough words to express how strongly we support your service. It was an invaluable tool for [our son] and his parents as we worked through the recruiting process. Please pass on our upmost appreciation to everyone there.

2012 COMMIT TO FRANKLIN & MARSHALL COLLEGE(PARENT OF)

I thought our experience with NCSA was very positive. Matt Roe, our recruiting coach, was extremely knowledgeable about the process overall and answered all of our questions with depth and precision. He was great! NCSA gave [my son] great exposure and everything from distributions to updating Highlight Films, etc. was done in a very timely manner. Best part, great coaching from Matt and easy to use RMS.

2012 COMMIT TO MALONE UNIVERSITY(PARENT OF)

I just want to thank you for all you did getting my son an athletic scholarship. If it wasn’t for NCSA they would have never seen him. They invited us down for a visit and when we got there they showed us around and had him do some running. After that the head coach had us come in to his office and offered my son a full ride. I was so happy and I have been praising NCSA because the head coach doesn’t know what he’s doing and the site gets out to colleges around the country. He even got a scholarship to Minot University in North Dakota. It’s unreal and all because of NCSA.

2012 COMMIT TO OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY (PARENT OF)

We are thankful for the help NCSA has provided (and continues to provide) in getting our son’s information out there to all of the schools. We find NCSA to be a vital and extremely helpful recruiting tool and don’t think the offers (which are actually still coming in from some smaller schools at this point) would have been as plentiful had it not been for your guidance and assistance. We knew our son had the skill and talent, but marketing that skill and talent was another story. We could not have done it on our own. Thank you.

2012 COMMIT TO BENEDICTINE COLLEGE (PARENT OF)

We wanted to personally thank the staff and NCSA program as a whole. At a combine, last April, we were almost talked into a ‘recruiting service’ for our son. Something told us to call a few folks first! His buddy he was with (and actually who ended up signing with to the same college!!) already had the NCSA service. We spoke with a good friend & coach, whose son utilized NCSA (and now is with the Cleveland Indians organization) & consulted with our high school coach, who has coached at the collegiate level, never heard of the ‘other’ service, but definitely knew about NCSA and recommended. We are so glad we trusted our instincts and our friends! With relatively little time, we opted for the recruit-match plan. The amount we invested has paid off 10-fold, our son was heavily recruited, had LOTS of options, but ultimately decided on an NAIA program that has his degree, the small atmosphere and one-on-one educational ‘private’ college environment AND he (we) hit the jackpot...FULL tuition paid for 4 years! We couldn’t be happier with his decision. We will, and have, highly recommended NCSA to friends whose student athlete desires playing at the collegiate level.

My experience with the NCSA was great. Everybody was so helpful and wonderful. All the calls that my family and I were on were very helpful and I appreciate it. They answered all the questions that we all had. I loved how my website was also set up. It was easy to find everything and for me to contact college coaches.

Words cannot express what an absolutely incredible experience this has been for our whole family. Your process took us from learning about the “new Experience” with the online help, to how to visit and talk to coaches, till now we narrowed the offers and finally accepted at a D2 Christian school....which was our ultimate goal. The offer was better than expected. And we give God all the credit, and we thank Him for leading us to your service.

2012 COMMIT TO YORK COLLEGE OF PENNSYLVANIA

I loved my experience with NCSA and it made my recruiting process very easy. I signed up at the end of my sophomore year and had colleges looking at me right away. I think the college search map was a great tool to help me narrow down the schools I wanted to focus on by distance and selectivity. I think the recruiting board for tracking contact was also very helpful. The best thing about NCSA is that all of my information was presented in a convenient, easy to view package to the colleges I wanted to look at me.

2012 COMMIT TO FORT LEWIS COLLEGE

I have committed to the reigning Division 2 National Champions Fort Lewis College! And I owe this to NCSA. I’m saying this because the only way that I was able to get in touch with these guys was because they saw my recruiting profile and gave me call. I want to thank you and all of the NCSA for helping me reach my goal of playing at a competitive school which now gives me the chance to go and play in the Pros. Thank you again so much, I owe NCSA big time!!!

We have been so impressed with the NCSA organization and are thrilled to be a part of it! My NCSA experience went very well. They helped me get out info to coaches and I was able to show my video to many coaches which helped out A LOT in the long run. It got me to where I am today with college soccer so I’m very happy with my experience. I like all the options it gives you and the constant reminders to do.

Thank you for all that you guys have done to help me. This whole experience was a lot easier with you guys. From the profile, to video, to meetings, everything has helped me tremendously. My favorite thing and one of the things that helped maybe the most was that I had all the information for any college right in front of me. This helped a lot to choose which schools I truly had interest in.

2012 COMMIT TO WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY (PARENT OF)

There were many things I think you guys are doing very well. Putting together the video and setting up the link for him were very helpful. My favorite part of the site however, was the Coach Request board. It was actually one of the main reasons he was recruited. We used the College Search map as well to help identify potential schools. We did use a coaching session to understand what it meant to give a verbal commitment. Although Alec did not do a lot of the online classes or complete all of the tasks, using the service gave him the confidence to pursue the opportunities he was most interested in. Thanks you for your support throughout the process and for the complete approach you offer to prospective athletes. The recruiting process is exceptionally complex if you don’t have help navigating it.

2012 COMMIT TO WINTHROP UNIVERSITY(PARENT OF)

NCSA really helped increase [my son’s] exposure. He was contacted by a lot of coaches who identified him through NCSA. In fact, I believe that is where Winthrop first identified him. I really liked being able to look up information about the colleges who contacted him using the college search map. I found the information on that site to be more helpful than the information we had access to through other sites, including the site provided through his school.

2012 COMMIT TO ELMHURST COLLEGE

My communication with Elmhurst actually started through NCSA. I was looking through my profile and saw that they have been looking at my recruiting profile numerous times. So after I saw that I sent them an email asking them what they thought about me and my talents in the net. They responded and said they liked what they saw and they actually attended some of my high school games without me knowing. So from there I went to their recruiting camp for them to get one last look at me before they made a decision if they wanted me on their team, and the final answer was yes. Ever since then I have been in contact with their head coach and their Goalkeeper coach to make it all happen. Now I am finally committed to Elmhurst College and I could not have picked a better place.

I have watched my nephew strive for excellence his whole life. Whether in school with his exemplary grades, perfect attendance, participation in band, jazz band, or in sports; briefly with track and then inheriting an overall passion for soccer. His passion for the game of soccer has found him playing year round and at some times playing on numerous leagues. NCSA has been a wonderful tool for our family to assist [my nephew] through the process of being recruited and also grow into a young man. I believe this resource should be shared with ALL junior/high schools.

2012 COMMIT TO BELMONT ABBEY COLLEGE

My experience with NCSA was like none other, it truly is a life changing program. You guys have all the information needed for the recruiting process and more. The team is full of excellent people and the website is easy to use. I know I wouldn’t have been able to find my perfect fit college without your help. From my highlight video to learning how to properly contact coaches in different states and levels all in one place is just unbelievable. I felt myself gain more experience and training while going through the process. For example, after a coaching call I gained more confidence that when I spoke with a coach, I was no longer nervous because I was fully prepared thanks to NCSA! One thing I liked was that I had all the resources available on the profile from learning how to write an email to seeing how many times coaches viewed my video.

2012 COMMIT TO INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY

I was in California for Nationals last summer and that is when Coach Bouman saw me play. We exchanged some emails and phone calls once a week. In September I went on a visit to ISU and I loved the campus and Coach Bouman and everything fell into place. It helped a ton that I had my videos on NCSA to tell coaches to look at. I didn’t have to take time to send videos because they could just log onto my website. I found that very useful and definitely was my favorite thing about NCSA. Thank you so much for everything your company has done for me, I will never forget it.

I am so excited about my signing with Cardinal Stritch University and I cannot wait until I am playing at the college level. My experience with NCSA began when I was a junior. My family spoke with Todd and he got us to set up an account and we began using it immediately. The things I liked best about being a member was the ability to research what the college coaches were looking for and having all of my important information for the coaches to see in one spot.

2012 COMMIT TO ALBRIGHT COLLEGE(PARENT OF)

I want to thank NCSA for the wonderful support (i.e. counseling, preparation, information, skills video support and everything else associated with our Membership) which helped [our daughter] from the academic application processes to interacting/communicating with Head Coaches. As a result, she applied to 6 schools and was accepted to by all 6 schools. As a parent, NCSA’s step-by-step processes provided a tremendous resource for navigating and matching our academic goals to [my daughters] desire to play college softball. She is excited about attending Albright and playing college softball for Coach Izzy Trottier!

Thanks NCSA for helping make this day possible for our daughter! She started high school looking forward to a college career in swimming, but budget cuts shut down our high school team at the end of her sophomore year. We told her she either needed to move (which we offered to make happen) or needed to adjust her perspective and see herself as an athlete - not strictly a swimmer. After making state finals on a relay team for track in her sophomore year, she walked off the track that day saying it was just the beginning. Less than 2 short years later - she signed with Western Michigan University today receiving an awesome scholarship to a D1 track team. She definitely received the skills she needed along with the courage to make the change with the help of so many on the NCSA team!

Honestly, I don’t know what I would have done without the help of the NCSA team. It made my search for colleges so much easier! It helped me easily search for what college coaches looked for and made it easy for me to find a school that fit all of my qualifications! I think the best thing throughout the whole process was how they edited my footage. It was so great to not have to do that! Thank you so so so much for all of you and your teams help!

2012 COMMIT TO THE COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS

NCSA was helpful in getting my information out to coaches. I have received contacts from volleyball coaches all over the nation, several from outside of where I planned to attend college. Even at this, it was very encouraging to me to know that I was of interest to those coaches. NCSA helped me stay on task with my recruiting process. Probably the thing that I liked best about using NCSA is the video process and how it allowed coaches to get a look at me without me having to send each of them a personal video or highlight tape. This made things a lot easier.

My experience was great. I really enjoyed seeing what coaches were looking at my profile. When I would see them looking I would then see if it was a college I would be interested in. Also I referred many coaches to the website. I could then see if they followed up and were really interested or not. When they looked several times is when it got exciting. I liked the way we could keep track of emails, questionnaires, offers etc. I liked the way you had a choice of sending video with emails from the site.

Working with NCSA made the process a lot easier and less stressful. It was great that NCSA created the highlight video for me. I also loved that I can see what college coaches have looked at my profile and easily contact them from there. It was really nice to be able to talk to the people at NCSA for coaching sessions on different things: the website, what to say to a coach, etc. Thank you so much for all of your help!

What I think was the most helpful [about NCSA], was the direction on preparing season highlight videos. Not having done this before, the guidelines and assistance were very helpful and really what got the most notice. Having the ability to see who was watching and have the ability to contact them was a close second.

I started with NCSA at the end of my sophomore year. College coaches started to e-mail me over the summer, and things went on from there. I watched many of the videos that NCSA provided, and they were very beneficial. The entire NCSA team has been a huge help. There is always someone to contact if needed and they are all so friendly. This was probably what helped the most. I have had a great experience with NCSA and recommend it to others.
