Regarding concreting the second floor slab in the area Part 03- Pour 01, from the pouring plan that we have submitted before concrete, We can understand that some of portion those cannot cover with the 49 meter pump, were decided to pour with chute and bucket. Up to the grid F-06, concrete pouring was done in a good condition. The rate of discharge of concrete from plant should be minimized while pouring in chute and bucket. But by mistake, the plant was completely stopped and rerouted the transit mixers. Restarting the plant takes more time than expected for getting the required pouring rate. We can do the core testing for this particular area of the slab for ensuring the quality and strength.

segregation in concrete

Location:Part03/pour 2/SF/Grid F/6-9.

Regarding concreting the second floor slab in the area Part 03- Pour 01, from the pouring plan that we have submitted before concrete, We can understand that some of portion those cannot cover with the 49 meter pump, were decided to pour with chute and bucket. Up to the grid F-06, concrete pouring was done in a good condition. The rate of discharge of concrete from plant should be minimized while pouring in chute and bucket. But by mistake, the plant was completely stopped and rerouted the transit mixers. Restarting the plant takes more time than expected for getting the required pouring rate. That was the main reason for delay in pouring. The effect of delay was much bigger because of the pouring methods. Based on our senior engineers comment, we have arranged the 58 meter pump for the getting smooth pouring for balance portions.

We can do the core testing for this particular area of the slab for

ensuring the quality and strength.

Water leakage occurred from soffit floor level

slab

Location: Part 02/Pour 03/ First floor slab/Grid

The found cracks are surface airline/shrinkage cracks, the marked cracks were not developed anymore in the slab by width and depth wise

The cracks area to be sealed with the crystalline waterproofing as

approved by the consultant. The cracks will be poured by the

crystalline waterproofing itself. Moreover after the crystalline

waterproofing work, water test to be conducted where ever leakage

occurred

Steel storage issues Location: Steel Yard

For the easy access of the rebar from the yard, we have stored in the tower crane accessible area around the mall. Steels are stored in place but without not enough earth clearance.

Already we have done the PCC for the steel storage in yard area.

Around the building, we will provide the plywood & concrete blocks for

the steel storage to prevent from the earth.

Gen MEP Block work Coordination

issue(As discussed in the

QA /QC meeting)

It has been co-ordinated with the MEP team while doing the block work. We have not noticed the pipeline wherever running parallel to the block work.

We have implemented the area handing over format to improve the co-ordination at site level. Also if any complication will arise in the time of plaster or painting, the MEP team agreed that to removing pipe.
