The Grant Application Process

Applicants desiring eedback maysubmit an optional pre-proposal anytimeup to specifed date prior to the deadlinedate. NCPTT sta will provide timelyfeedbackonthedegreeoftbetweentheproposed idea and the National Centersmission.

The National Center or PreservationTechnology and Training seeksinnovativeprojectsthatadvancetheapplication o science and technologyto historic preservation. The PTT Grantsprogramfundsprojectsthatdevelopnew technologies or adapt existingtechnologies to preserve culturalresources.

Grants are awarded competitivelywithamaximumawardof$25,000(including indirect costs). All grantsrequireaone-to-onematchofcashorin-kindservices.Grantsarefundedbyannual ederal appropriation and are

subjecttoavailabilityoffunds.
