• In 2011, “twitter” overtook “mixi” in the number of users.
– mixi is the most famous Social Networking Service (SNS) in Japan
• mixi was released in 2004.
• Users of mixi keep diary and leave comments on their friend’s diary.
– is a microblogging service, enabling its users to send and read messages called tweets.
• Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters.
• A lot of people share their “now” by using social media.
