RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES

Celebrating over 30 years of service, DM&A is nationally acclaimed as the leader in providing systems and processes that enable food and nutrition departments to transform themselves from Good to Best.

Now DM&A has established a specific division whose sole focus is on retirement communities.

At DM&A we offer comprehensive programs for each segment in senior dining. We recognize the specific needs and expectations which exist in these different communities, and the need for tailored programs at different price points. The following programs are designed to take your Dining Services to a “10” - the Gold Medal of fine dining.

Operational audits for dining departments(scored assessments, with narrative detail, providing an accurate snapshot of your currentstate, with the introduction of detailed solutions) Equipment and space utilization Training academies (culinary, leadership, staffengagement) to transform your culture Wait Staff Training (Customer Service) Maximizing the use of Navigator GPO Recipe and menu analysis andrecommendations Specifically crafted and affordable trainingoptions for SNF locations

“After our facility was named “Best Retirement Community” in Nebraska for 10 years straight, we wanted more. So we called DM&A and implemented the Destination 10 Performance Improvement Process. I was amazed to discover that a much higher level of excellence did exist. We went from good to BEST and we saved $120,000 per year.”

“In my opinion, any FSD that wants to be the BEST needs Destination 10 because you don’t know what you don’t know until you experience Destination 10.”

Winning the battle"Skin tears" may sound like a relatively minor event, but in realit"Skin tears" may sound like a relatively minor event, but in reality, these injuries can have a significant impact on the quality of patients' lives in the form of pain, infection, and limited mobility. The incidence of skin tears has been reported to be as high as 1.5 million annually, and with an aging population, this number is likely to go higher. In this webinar, experts will explain how nurses can use an evidence-based approach—including following practice guidelines to assess the wound and select the proper dressing—or managing skin tears and minimizing their negative effects.
