Important!

● To prevent loss of water resistanceand/or damage due to impact, be sureto push the crown in to its normalposition after you are finished using it.

● When pushing the crown back in, takecare not to apply too much force.

After pulling out the crown to the first or secondclick, rotating it quickly in succession in eitherdirection will start a fast forward or fast reverseoperation. While a fast forward operation is inprogress, quickly rotating the crown insuccession again will increase the speed evenfurther.● Stopping Fast Forward/Fast ReverseRotate the crown in the direction opposite thatof the ongoing operation or press any button.

Note

● If you do not perform any operation forabout two minutes after pulling out thecrown, crown operations willautomatically become disabled. If thathappens, push the crown back in andthen pull it out again.

● Function Hand and Day IndicatorMovement

Changing the day setting of the watch will alsocause the function hand to move.

● Day● It can take anywhere from about 50 seconds

to about 3 minutes and 20 seconds for theday indicator to change after timekeepingreaches midnight. At this time, the functionhand moves as the day indicator changes.

● The day may not be indicated correctlywhile the watch’s crown is pulled out.

Solar ChargingThis watch runs on power supplied from arechargeable (secondary) battery that ischarged by a solar panel. The solar panel isintegrated into the face of the watch, andpower is generated whenever the face isexposed to light.

● Charging the WatchWhen you are not wearing the watch, put it ina location where it is exposed to bright light.

While you are wearing the watch, make surethat its face (solar panel) is not blocked fromlight by the sleeve of your clothing. Powergeneration efficiency is reduced even whenthe face of the watch is blocked only partially.

● Depending on light intensity and localconditions, the watch may become hotto the touch when exposed to light forcharging. Take care to avoid burninjury after charging. Also, avoidcharging the watch under high-temperature conditions like the onesdescribed below.ー On the dashboard of a vehicle

Using Mobile Link witha Mobile Phone

While there is a Bluetooth connectionbetween the watch and phone, the watch timesetting is adjusted automatically. You can alsochange the watch’s other settings.

Getting ReadyTo use your watch in combination with aphone, you first need to pair them. Perform thesteps below to pair the watch with a phone.

●A Install the required app on yourphone.

In Google Play or the App Store, search for theCASIO “EDIFICE Connected” app and installit on your phone.

●B Configure Bluetooth settings.Enable the phone’s Bluetooth.

1. Move the phone to be paired with close to(within one meter of) the watch.

2. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thescreen of the phone to be paired with.● If your phone is already paired with a

watch, tap , tap the item forconnecting with a new watch, and thentap this watch’s name.

● If a pairing prompt message appears,perform the operation shown on thephone screen.

● About two seconds after pairing starts,the second hand will point to [R]. Whenpairing is complete, the second handwill move to e.

● The first time you start up EDIFICEConnected, a message will appear onyour phone asking if you want toenable location informationacquisition. Configure settings to allowbackground use of locationinformation.

Auto Time AdjustmentThe watch will connect with a phone at presettimes each day and adjust its time settings.● Using Auto AdjustYour watch adjusts its time setting four timesa day according to a preset schedule. If youleave the watch in the Calendar Mode, it willperform the adjustment operationautomatically as you go about your daily life,without any operation required by you.

Alignment● If there is a World Time City specified

with EDIFICE Connected, its time willalso be adjusted automatically.

● The watch will connect with the phoneand perform auto time adjustment ataround 12:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 12:30p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The connection isautomatically terminated after autotime adjustment is complete.

● Triggering Immediate Time AdjustmentThe watch’s time setting will be adjustedautomatically whenever you establish aconnection between the watch and a phone.Whenever you want to trigger immediate timeadjustment, perform the procedure below toconnect with a phone.

1. Move the phone close to (within one meterof) the watch.

2. X Enter the Calendar Mode.l Navigating Between Modes

3. X Hold down (B) for at least 0.5 secondsuntil the second hand points to [R].Release the button as soon as the secondhand points to [R].When the watch connects with a phone,the second hand will normally move to eand then the watch’s time setting will beadjusted.● The connection is terminated

Viewing Stopwatch DataThis section explains how to send lap times(up to 200 records) that are stored in watchmemory, as well as other data to your phonefor viewing with EDIFICE Connected.

● Sending Stopwatch Data to a PhoneUse the procedure below to send data fromthe watch to a phone.

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to transfer data measuredby the watch to the phone.After data transfer is complete, a list of themeasurement data will appear on thephone display.● Tapping a stopwatch data item displays

its details.

● Checking a Lap TimeUse EDIFICE Connected to check the datayou sent to the phone.

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to view the measurementdata you want.

Note

● Tapping “Edit” displays a screen thatyou can use to change the data itemtitle and to delete lap time data.

Setting the Alarm

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to configure alarm timesettings.

Configuring World TimeSettings

Specifying a World Time City with EDIFICEConnected causes the watch’s World TimeCity to change accordingly. The standardtime/summer time setting of the World Timewill be adjusted automatically without anywatch operation required by you.

● EDIFICE Connected World Time letsyou select from among approximately300 cities as the World Time City.

● Configuring the Summer Time Setting

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to select a summer timesetting.● “Auto”

The watch switches between standardtime and summer time automatically.

● “OFF”The watch always indicates standardtime.

● “ON”The watch always indicates summertime.

Note

● While the summer time setting is“Auto”, the watch will switch betweenstandard time and summer timeautomatically. You do not need toswitch between standard time andsummer time manually. Even if you arein an area that does not observesummer time, you can leave thewatch’s summer time setting as “Auto”.

● Changing the time setting manuallywith a watch operation will cancel autostandard time/summer time switching.

● EDIFICE Connected screen showsinformation about summer timeperiods.

● Swapping Your World Time and HomeTime

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to swap your Home Timewith your World Time.For example, if your Home City is Tokyoand the World Time City is New York, theywill be swapped as shown below.

● Auto time adjustment does not work for24 hours after swapping of the HomeTime and World Time.

Adjusting Hand and DayIndicator Alignment

If the hands and/or day indicator are out ofalignment even though auto time adjustmentis being performed, use EDIFICE Connectedto adjust them.

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to correct hand and dayindicator alignment.

Phone FinderYou can use phone finder to trigger a tone onthe phone to make it easy to find. The tone isforced to sound even if the phone is in vibratemode.

Important!

● Do not use this function in areas wherephone call tones are restricted.

● The tone sounds at a high volume. Donot use this function when listening tophone output over earphones.

1. X If the watch is connected with a phone,press any button to terminate theconnection.This will cause the watch to enter theCalendar Mode.

Configuring Watch SettingsYou can use EDIFICE Connected to specifythe amount of time until the Bluetoothconnection is automatically terminated, and toconfigure other settings.

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Select the setting you want to changeand then perform the operation shown onthe phone screen.

Changing the Home CitySummer Time Setting

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to change your Home Citysummer time setting.

Checking the Watch ChargeLevel

Use the procedure below to check the currentcharge level with EDIFICE Connected.

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Use EDIFICE Connected to check thecharge level.

Connection

Connecting with a PhoneThis section explains how to establish aBluetooth connection with a phone that ispaired with the watch.● If the watch is not paired with the phone you

want to connect with, refer to the informationbelow and pair them.lC Pair the watch with a phone.

1. Move the phone close to (within one meterof) the watch.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

Important!

● If you have problems establishing aconnection, it could mean thatEDIFICE Connected is not running onthe phone. On the phone’s HomeScreen, tap the “EDIFICE Connected”icon. After the app starts up, hold downthe watch’s (B) button for at least twoseconds.

Note

● The connection will be terminated ifyou do not perform any operation onthe watch or phone for a fixed amountof time.To specify the connection limit time,perform the following operation withEDIFICE Connected: “Watch settings”n “Connection time”. Next, select asetting of 3 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10minutes.

Canceling a Connection with aPhone

Pressing any button terminates the Bluetoothconnection and returns the second hand to itsnormal operation.

Using the Watch in a Medical Facilityor Aircraft

You can use the procedure below to disableauto time adjustment when you are in ahospital, inside an aircraft, or in any other areawhere use of a phone is prohibited orrestricted. To re-enable auto time adjustment,perform the same operation again.

1. Y Tap the “EDIFICE Connected” icon.

2. X Hold down (B) for at least two secondsuntil the second hand points to [R] twice.This establishes a connection betweenthe watch and phone.

3. Y Perform the operation shown on thephone screen to enable or disable autotime adjustment.

UnpairingUse the procedure below to delete pairinginformation from EDIFICE Connected.
