Before Computer Use…•Small group of three students will work together to identify/name plants and animals that they have seen in their area.•Then they will type the list information in a Word document.•They will plan their internet search for pictures of local plants and animals.•Next, as a whole group will we plan a nature walk and utilize a digital camera to document what they found.

During Computer Use….

• Small group of 3 students each will..– Research online for multiple information/pictures on local

wildlife and vegetation. http://www.projectwild.org/GrowingUpWILD.html

– Work together to compile pictures downloaded from nature walk and of plants and animals found online.

– Next, they will create a PowerPoint presentation based on their research.

After Computer Use…•Students will work together to review all pictures and findings and to determine if any information is missing.•Lastly, they will review the slide show presentation to make sure it has no errors and that all information is positioned correctly
