IntroductionGood Morning Class,For the past week, we have been discussing in
our Science class some natural wonders on earth. This video contains elements of nature and our environment. It is divided into 5 sections-Beaches, Waters, Mountains, Canyons, and Sunsets.

Beaches
Beaches are landforms along the shoreline of an ocean, sea, or lake and consists of rock, sand, gravel, pebbles, cobblestones, shells and algae. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beach

Waters of Water Bodies
Water bodies consist of oceans which cover 71% of the earth’s surface and made of saline, seas which are also made of saline and connected with oceans, rivers usually formed from precipitation and flow from higher ground to lower ground, and lakes which are usually freshwater, are considerable in size, and contained on a body of land.

Mountains are large landforms that stretch above the surrounding land usually in the form of a peak. Tall mountains have different climatic conditions at the top than at the base.
Mountains are made up of earth and rock materials.

Canyons are deep ravines between cliffs that are often carved from the landscape by a river. Canyon walls are often formed of sandstones or granite.

Sunset or Sundown
Sunset is the daily disappearance of the sun below the horizon as a result of the Earth’s rotation. The sunset creates unique atmospheric conditions such as intense orange and red colors of the sun and the surrounding sky.
