NATURE

(1) Random (accident) : In my research, the nature create universe always by random way. Even thought, universe was composed by basic element and regular arrangement.

(2) Vitality : Design needs to infuse with vital spark.

(3) Play : A visitor, a user, a guest can follow a clue from the object and enjoy a entertainments what the object wants them to figure out.

(4) Nature’s elements : To symbolize nature’s spirit.

As I mentioned the ideas of nature, I design some basic elements, but it can be developed a complicated structure. It fits in with the idea that a regular element arranges by irregular method.

Therefore, I develop 3 prototypes of pipe shape, which it can integrate into a 3 dimension structure. Hot water can travel the structure and transmit the heat to the air. The material of pipe, I want to use the Fine Ceramic. It has a lot of an advantage for this project.

My main idea of last trimester, I mentioned some ideas ofnature. That is :

Regular element and irregular arrangement

First of all, I searched a materials call AL2O3 Fine ceramic. It composes of aluminum and porcelain. It has a good function for transmit heat, rigidity, anti-corrodibility, and good for manufacture and design.

Second, I design several patterns, which I refer to ecotype of nature. You can see it on the display table.

Third, it can add some graze on the ceramics. I would like to use a graze, which it able changes color by different temperature degree. Therefore, when hot water passes through a region of the structure, the pipe changes the color. If I change the water current, while the whole structure changes the color. The radiator becomes a vitally product, not just puts it on the wall and everyone wants to hide it. People also can enjoy the color dance with this stick pipe radiator. It is not only a radiator structure anymore, which it imitate a nature shape, but also can be a beautiful artwork.

I design several pattern, which I refer to ecotype of nature. For each prototype, It also has a lot of possibility to create all kinds of pattern design.

WET PROJECT 2005 DRINKING WATER

INGREDIENT

People drink beverages everyday. There are many different drinking water in the market. Do people know what they drink for everyday?

This project is talking about drinking water. I would like to show what the ingredient inside of drinking water. There are many ways to show the ingredient of drink. But I choose to bake the drink water, or I can say that I take the water out of drink. When I bake the drinking water, I carbonize it. Therefore, it shows different colors by different material of beverages after carbonization. It results a beautiful picture and water pattern. It also adds my character into the pictures.

For this presentation, I want to create a bar. I am going to be a bartender to serve several beverages. I draw the drinking water on the paper by referring the recipe. For every beverage, they have their own unique picture. They become a menu for the drinking water bar. I also will make and show all of beverages in front of the menu.

However, as my experience from my experiment of making pictures and drinks, I draw my own drink picture, and then I make it to be a drinkable beverage finally.

I think the significance of drinking water that I make some beverages, which people can really drink it and test it. I try to perform the human life. This project, I am not only talking about wet, but also showing the real life of human. It is not only talking about what are ingredients inside of drinking water, but also presenting the ingredients of human’s life.
