Hazards:

• Higher snowfall amounts ranging from 4” to 8” along the Lake Superior

shoreline and higher terrain. 4” or less elsewhere

Areas Impacted:

• Most of northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin especially

counties along the Lake Superior shoreline

Timing & Duration: • Rain transitions to rain/snow mix or all snow this evening

• Heavy, wet snow continues into Thursday morning

Impacts:

• Difficult travel conditions due to slippery roads and reduced visibilities

Certainty & Considerations:

• Some uncertainty on the snowfall amounts over Wisconsin due to whether

precipitation will be all snow or a rain/snow mix. Also, some uncertainty with

the western extent of the snowfall due to the storm’s pivot point.
