KANNUR UNIVERSITYKannur University was established in 1996 to provide development of higher education in Kasargod, Kannur and Wayanad districts of Kerala, India. Kannur University was inaugurated on 2nd march 1996 by E K Nayanar, the Hon. Chief minister of Kerala. Kannur University is unique in the sense that it is a multi-campus University with campuses spread over at Kannur, Kasargode, Mananthavady, Payyannur, Thalasseri and Kanhangad. In 2016 march NACC accredited the University with B grade. At pres-ent the University has 34 departments and 105 a�liated colleges.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTDepartment of Information Technology , Kannur University campus is situated near Kerala Armed Police IV Ba�alion, Dharmasala, Mangat-tuparamba. It was established in the year 2000. The Department has come long way since its establishment. The Department of Information Technology currently o�ers MCA, MPhil and PhD in Computer Science and allied fields. The research areas are Digital Speech and Image Processing, Pa�ern Recognition, Artificial Intelli-gence, Data Science, Natural language Process-ing, Data mining, Visual Cryptography. etc . The department has state of the art facilities in Intel-ligent Computing and Signal Processing. The department has produced fourteen PhDs. and conducted Conferences/ Workshops on di�er-ent areas of computer science.

OBJECTIVESThe seminar will solicit a national forum for investigators, researchers and application developers to present their findings. Some of the major objectives are:

To introduce importance of cyber space in present scenario

To familiarize the concept of cyber intel ligence

To equip participants to identify thrust areas of cyber intelligence research

To provide an opportunity for the partic ipants to share their experience and ideas in this area enabling individuals to enhance their knowledge, expertise, and abilities with regard to the devel opment of cyber intelligence so�ware and hardware

SUBMISSION OF RESEARCH PAPER The participants are requested to submit their papers/abstract through the e-mail: [email protected]. The papers should be submi�ed in English with formats: Font- Times New Roman, size-12, lines space-1.5 in

A4 size page with one inch margin on all sides. Accepted papers will be published in the edited book with ISBN number/ UGC approved journals. The papers should be received on or before 1st Janu-ary, 2019.

REGISTRATION FEEAll the delegates are expected to pay the following registration fee in cash on the day of the seminar:

(i) Academicians : Rs 800/-

(ii) Research Scholars : Rs.500/-

(iii) Students : No Fees
