Judges are looking for surprising topic choices, different topics, and ones that stand out among the rest.
Change this year- ALL categories are interviewed at State Level!
Process papers- MLA or Turabian style 60% of your score comes from your ability to
supply well rounded historical research

Do NOT 'stack' your sources Use only sources that you can cite in your
bibliography. The judges may ask 'which sources did you
use.... for?' Your score can drop from including extra
sources that you did not gain an abundance of information from, or if the source(s) did not aid to your final thesis idea.

Respectfully interaction with the judges That includes EVERYONE in your 'team'
Only students in your 'team' may appear on or in your documentary
Including the voice dub over and your own video
If you choose to include your own video, it needs to appear highly professional.
Paper
Keep repeating throughout your paper, 'why your leadership of choice makes a great legacy'
20 % of your score comes from organization, spelling, and grammar.
Include thesis statement at the beginning of the paper.

Need to include at least one visual aid Interactive Diorama Artifact
Judge should be able to immediately identify how your topic relates to 'Leadership & Legacy'

Do NOT give the judges a script of your lines If you accidentally missed a line, but do not
give the appearance that you did. Then the judges would not know.
