NHS E topic selection update

• 19 Oct NHSE meeting discussed retenders of 15 NCAPOP projects and 14 new topics including:

– SSNAP

– FFFAP

– Diabetes (NDA – NPDA)

– NICOR x 6

– OGC

– PICANet

– NNAP

– End of Life

– Maternal, Newborn and Infant (clinical outcome review programme)

• HQIP will communicate outcome once known

Quality Accounts

• NAGCAE meeting 16 December

– Review the returns from the HQIP scoping survey and confirm any new criteria

– Make a recommendation to NHS E as to which projects should be included in the 2016/17 Quality Accounts list

– 4 January 2016: NHS E confirm the agreed list to HQIP

– 7 January: HQIP publish the 2016/17 Quality Accounts list

– Separate Resource of all projects who responded to scoping survey

HQIP-CQC Trust level dashboard

12th November 2015 Workshop

Objective: “a succinct collation of transparently prioritised national clinical audit/CORP data, co-located and searchable at Trust/hospital/unit level, and accessible to all in a user friendly way…”

HQIP-CQC Trust level dashboard

• 1) Tranche 1 audits (8 audits) – close to finalising the displays with the key metrics – have a “template” for how to display different categories of metric and developing an accompanying ‘context page’ for each

• 2) Tranche 2 audits (10 audits) – most have either provided key metrics or have agreed to send them across shortly

• 3) Tranche 3 audits (10 audits) – we will approach in Feb/Mar for the key metrics and begin display design.

• 4) Dashboard – discussions between CQC & NHS E planned in Feb 2016 to bottom out ownership, cost, hosting etc
