NCCPL SYSTEMS AVAILABILITY FOR

FULL DAY WEEKEND MOCK OF PSX NEW TRADING SYSTEM

Dear TREC HOLDERS/BROKERS,

This is with reference to the PSX circular, PSX/N-1174 dated October 1st, 2021 regarding the Full Day Weekend Mock of New Trading System on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, scheduled by PSX.

NCSS & RMS Mock Systems

In this regards, please note that NCCPL has arranged NCSS and RMS systems duly integrated with the

PSX new Trading system under the mock environment on the above date from 09:00 AM till 5:00 PM

for the relevant users for their testing, available at the following URLs:

For RMS: http://mockrms.nccpl.com.pk:5850/RMS.jsp

MTS Mock System

Please also note that the MTS system shall also be available during the above timings under the mock

environment duly integrated with PSX new Trading system for testing purposes.

To route the MTS to the mock environment, a minor change in MTS (TWS) system file at client end shall

be required. For the convenience of our valued clients, NCCPL has developed a simplified self-

explanatory manual (below attached as Annexure ‘A’) stating specific changes to be carried out on MTS

system.

Note: Please do not forget to revert back the change after the mock in order to avoid any issues on

next working day.

Please also note that, clients on PSX LAN and connecting MTS application using Cisco Any Connect

VPN shall be required to contact PSX IT Support team in case of any queries whereas the clients using

MTS application over FortiClient VPN shall contact NCCPL Customer Support and IT/Operation teams

for any support required during the mock session.

Step 1:

Login via Administrator Local account

Step 2:

Right click on TWS application shortcut placed in Desktop and click Properties. (As shown

below)

Open “VS.CFG” file in notepad.

Change the host file IP address from 172.16.41.13 to 172.16.59.4, save it and close the file.

REVERT PROCEDURE:

Following changes require after MTS mock session ends

Follow Step 1 & 2, as shown above.

Change the host file IP address from 172.16.59.4 to 172.16.87.5, save it and close the file.
