We will be conducting a series of lecture oriantations on the important provisions of R.A.

9470 otherwise known as the "National Archives of the Philippines Act of 2007". One of theprovisions of the law is the conduct of a National Inventory of Records and Archives whichare in the possession of government offices. One of the goals of this undertaking is to createa list of record series of all government agencies so as to promote transparency, goodgovernance and access.

Relative to this, we will be conducting a ope-day seminar for all the Records

Officers/Custodians and/or other personnel in-charge of recordkeeping to all Government

Agencies In Reglon I. We shall accept one or two participants from your office.

This seminar is free of charge to be held at Hotel Veniz, One Abanao Street, Baguio City on

August 23, 2012. Registration starts at 7:30 am and the program will commence by 8:30am.

We shall appreciate receiving your accomplished nomination forms on or before August 17,
