Nate Newman, CCIMPresident

Nate Newman leads a team of highly qualified advisors specializing in the sale of retail shopping centers, officebuildings, and single-tenant net leased assets. Nate began his career in commercial real estate in 2007 with a smallcommercial real estate brokerage company in The Woodlands, TX. His timing coincided with The Great Recession,which taught Nate valuable lessons in humility, determination, and how to hustle. After five years and 65 transactionsof various sizes, Nate joined Marcus & Millichap in 2013 to open The Woodlands office. During his tenure at Marcus &Millichap, Nate was been very successful representing some of the largest investors and developers in Houston. Nateopened his own company focused on investment brokerage and development in April 2019.

Nate has sold in excess of $200,0000,000 of properties over the last few years and he and his team have personallyunderwritten/valued billions of dollars worth of assets as a service to their clients.

Nate also has extensive experience as a developer, specializing in build-to-suit development and working throughentitlement challenges for large land tracts. Since 2014, Nate has successfully developed three retail build-to-suits,one medical office building, and one large scale mixed-use development of 107 acres. Nate is currently developingseveral projects including a 150,000 square foot industrial business park and a residential subdivision consisting of 134lots. Nate’s approach to investments is unique because he is able to leverage his transactional investment brokerageexperience to generate capital, source deal opportunities, and have the knowledge base to work through challenges.

Nate is a graduate of Baylor University and is happily married to Marifer Newman. Marifer and Nate have one child,Daniella Newman. When not working, Nate enjoys spending time at his ranch, playing golf, serving in church, sailing,reading, and traveling with his family.

Their skilled team of primary care physicians and physician assistants work with patients to manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and more.

Houston Methodist’s standard lease structure is a 5-year lease with options to renew. Historically they have a reputation in the marketplace for very seldom ever leaving a location, especially for their small primary care group practices which are embedded in suburban communities. The subject lease features 2% annual rental increases.

Dr. Scott Andersen has been practicing pediatric dentistry in The Woodlands for over 20 years and is consistently ranked as one of the best pediatric dentists in South Montgomery County with one of the strongest practices. In 2018, Dr. Andersen opened his second location in The Woodlands at Legends Professional Plaza so that he could expand his market.

Woodlands Pediatric Dentistry signed a 10-year lease with options to renew and subject to annual rental increases averaging 2% per year.
