An introduction to NASA¶s
Structure and Evolution of theUniverse
Education Forum
How did the Universe, galaxies, stars, and planets formand evolve, and what is their destiny
Various missions are conducted by NASA These missions will use space based observations to
study the universe by observing the earth, the sun, thestars and beyond
A key goal for NASA¶s space science programme iseducation and public out reach to share the excitementand knowledge generated by scientific discovery

IST MISSION BY NASAProject Apollo
"I believe this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man
on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth. No single space project in this
period will be more impressive to mankind, or more important in the long-
range exploration of space; and none
will be so difficult or expensiveto accomplish."
John F. Kennedy
Special Joint Session of Congress
