INTRODUCTION
An Introduction to On-the-Job Training On-the-Job training is a method use by Different colleges and even vocational schools to broaden the skills and knowledge of students in different fields as part of curriculum wherein students are applying the theories and knowledge from school into an actual working environment. At the same time, it is also a matter of acquiring additional skills and experiences that they can be used in their future jobs.
The training can typically be in verbal and written instruction in which a trainee will just have to listen or respond to the command of his/her trainer, in a form of observing or looking to demonstrations, and in a form of hands-on practice.
On the other hand, both the company and student are benefited with this program. An OJT can contribute to their man power and can also share fresh ideas, suggestions and perspective that could possibly help to the productivity of the company.
Companies also benefited in this kind of program in searching qualified employees since they've supervise each trainee to the job that will be done and also monitor the behavior and performance.
We, Civil Engineering Students have decided to take our On-the-Job Training at the L.C.LOPEZ RESOURCES INC. in coordination with Engr. Ermino G. Enriquez since it known to have a good level of performance in terms of building infrastructure for Rusty Lopez, its sister company. And to have a responsible and dedicated employees.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
EXPERIENCESANDEVALUATION
OJT EXPERIENCES
OJT is not just about gathering additional knowledge, it is more about being exposed to the real work and being familiar to its jobsite. And the people you will encounter during the actual job.At first week, we were oriented about the precautionary measures to be implemented in the workplace. We learned that safety measures is the most important thing to learn because a single mistake can risk your life.We also studied the plans, that was the first time that we were able to see a complete project plan. We were tasked to take pictures of the developments and create an accomplishment report to be submitted to our project engineer for their weekly meeting.Because the company does not have their permanent workers, they are accepting walk-in applicants. We were also tasked to process the application papers and interview them about their desired job position. We were also tasked to maintain the schedule board of manpower. It used to monitor the work assignment. They are divided into several groups and assigned a leadman to assess and organize their works. In this way, we can also evaluate if the expected accomplishment were done depending on the number of the workers that is present in that day.Working in a construction site is not an easy job. You should prepare for the scorching heat of the sun, coldness of the rain and even the air filled with dusts. You should learn to get along with different people from different cultures and from different stands in life, from the laborers to the project manager. Respect everyone and they will respect you every time.
PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
Slow accomplishment that tends to delay of schedules because of several reasons like slow delivery of materials and many absences of workers.
Poor lighting especially during the night shift that increases the risk of accidents.
Limited facilities to serve the needs of the workers like not functional clinic and small canteen to cater the workers.
