Membership Dues• Annual Members: If you are a current member

paying annually, your NARFE dues will no longer be invoiced. If you belong to a local chapter, or choose to add one, you will be billed annually for chapter dues.

• Dues Withholding Members: If your dues are currently withheld from your annuity check by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, the dues withholding will stop 60 to 90 days after your Life Membership is processed. If you maintain a chapter membership, you will be invoiced annually for your chapter dues.

Chapter DuesCurrent chapter members will be billed for chapter dues in the usual cycle and are not required to submit them with the NARFE Life Membership application.

Life Membership fees may be remitted in one single payment or in quarterly installments during the first year. Use this chart to determine your dues.

NARFE Life Membership Fees

Program Guidelines• NARFE Life Membership is not transferable and ceases

upon death. A spouse may not inherit a NARFE Life Membership.

• Spouses of NARFE members and persons eligible to join also may enroll as NARFE Life Members.

• NARFE Life Membership dues are not refundable.

• You may purchase a NARFE Life Membership for another person, provided the recipient meets the eligibility requirements.

• Full payment must be received before the NARFE Life Membership card, certificate and pin are mailed. All other benefits are available to NARFE Life Members upon enrollment.

• Current members may convert to National Life Membership at any time. Previous dues payments are not credited toward NARFE Life Membership payments.
